Tsumuura Hotel with Pool

"I feel bad leaving a negative review because the staff were very friendly, and they were doing their best with limited resources and staff, in an old building. I guess the owner doesn't feel like spending any money on the place. Aside from being sandwiched in between a loading dockyard and massive, smoke-producing factories, the view was nice (if you looked straight ahead). "This is a completely new facility in an old warehouse district of Sakate on Shodoshima. Right on the water, the views from the hotel are stunning. The staff is courteous, helpful, and professional. The rooms are spacious, with sitting areas and balconies, but also a bit quirky in design. We had one dinner at the hotel and two breakfasts. The food was excellent--and reasonably priced. I would happily return to this hotel, given the opportunity."
