We were very shocked how the front desk person treated us after reading all of the wonderful reviews about the staff. Upon check-in, we waited about 5 minutes while they chatted with a person at the bar while completely ignoring us. I kindly asked them if we were at the correct spot to check in and they said that they will be with us in a moment. A minute or so later, they finally finished their convo and check us in with a bit of attitude. We decided to get the upgraded art room which didn't remotly match the photos on Expedia. The floors are concrete (unlike the wood floors shown in the photos), and there was no mural on the wall. Not a big deal, but I looking forward to something special. The bed was extremely hard. Other than that, we loved the place.

The FREE mini arcade, pinball machines, ping pong table, and connect four that are part of the hotel are an amazing feature that I've not seen at any other hotel. I wish I was staying longer and for leisure, so I could've enjoyed it more! Not to mention the complimentary first drink :~)

Hotel McCoy is a modern, art-filled place to stay that has been remodeled from an old motel. Even though the rooms are not as large as those in luxury hotels, the entire property is full of art and great people. We loved all the public spaces, including the arcade and gym, the pool and outdoor play area, as well as the lobby and dining room. The staff were very nice and patient. No matter what time we needed help, they were always there and friendly. My family loved the breakfast, especially on Christmas morning. All the guests were together sharing the dining space, wishing each other Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, which made the morning feel incredibly warm and special. The property is pet-friendly and has no extra pet fee, which was amazing.

Fun and funky retro art motor lodge. Oatmeal buffet breakfast and PopTarts. 24hr heated salt water pool. Gym with free vintage pinball machines. Each room is unique (tho not with a load of amenities). Pleasure, helpful staff.
