Our villa is equipped with free WIFI, supercharged air conditioners, remote-controlled ceiling fans with lights, a laundry room stocked with all detergents, a safe box, USB outlets, and a fully equipped kitchen with top-quality utensils, pots, pans, a good corkscrew, backup, coffee makers, Ninja blender, tea kettle, and anything you need to cook, bake, chop, fry, mix and drink.

Additionally, there are two HD smart TVs with premium SKY network, offering 278+ HD channels including USA sports networks, NFL Sunday ticket, NFL red zone, MLB extra innings, HBO, and much more. You can also log on to your YouTube, Netflix, Prime, Disney, Hulu, Roku and other streaming services.

Relax and unwind in your own private 90,000-liter pool, one of the largest in the area. The villa also features granite decks, a palapa with hammocks, a sun deck, rooftop access with hammocks, and covered private parking.

We provide all linens, towels, beach towels, paper towels, tissues, toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, purified fresh drinking water, purified ice, and daily maid and grounds keeping services. Unlike many vacation rentals, our home is constantly updated, and all pictures were taken with a cell phone without any filters or enhancements.

Our villa is designed for two adults only, with no exceptions. We do not accommodate children or pets, and smoking is not allowed inside . If you're looking for privacy, then this is the perfect place for you. Enjoy the sound of the ocean and relax in your private oasis.

For your peace of mind, we have recently installed two Generac full operational house generators in case of any unforeseen circumstances. We are located in a gated community with 24-hour security.🚨

Awesome - Romantic and Quiet

Very relaxing in a beautiful location. Secluded yet near to local restaurants and Tulum. Edwin and Irma were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was wonderful, and it was amazing to hear the ocean crashing against the shore every second of our stay. However, the long dirt drive was a little grind. Recommend it very highly.

Perfect for Rest and relaxation

Our stay way wonderful as everything was just as advertised. Stayed two weeks and never left the property except for long walks on the beach and one trip to Tulum for supplies.

Twice as Fun in Paradise!

This was our second time staying at Casa Vendaval. It is such a beautiful property and area. There are all the amenities you need for an amazing luxury vacation. Thank you Mac, Edwin and Erma for always making us feel at “home away from home”. We look forward to when we can return to paradise.

Great, private location

Loved the location and the house. Tulum has really blown up over the past 10-15 years and is not as quiet and "off the beaten path" as before. My wife and I specifically picked this house because it appeared to be a little more outside main Tulum and thus more quiet/peaceful. We were really happy with the location...felt more secluded even though we were only about 5 miles from town. Great setup, great views of the ocean. Would definitely stay there again.

Relaxation Residence

I cannot say enough great things about this rental. Communication with Mac the owner from the beginning was easy. Walter and Maritza were so warm and friendly and ready to help us if we needed anything . From the gorgeous accommodations, to the amazing view, to the private pool, and the stunning beachfront it was a perfect getaway. We will be making a return for sure!

Fantastic Experience

My wife and I visited for our 30th Anniversary. The property was as described and fabulous. Perfect escape for us. The on-site, Edwin and Erma, were fantastic and helpful. We hired Edwin to cook 3 meals for us which were magnificent. Communication from the owner was spot on and informative. The last night, my wife had a massage which was great. Highly recommend this location.

A perfect beach retreat!

Casa Vendaval was clean, well-appointed, quiet, and comfortable. Lying in bed and looking out at the sunrise and the waves is unbeatable. Wi-fi and streaming services were perfect. Edwin and Irma take very good care of the premises and of the guests. They prepared perfect grilled lobster and mixed ceviche for us, which was definitely worth the extra cost. We did not have a car but Edwin made sure a taxi was available for us whenever we needed one. We would not hesitate to give our highest recommendation to anyone considering this property.

Best of Tulum

What a vacation! We stayed for a week at this amazing property. Everything was perfect. A great choice for our stay in Tulum. Private, beautiful setting. Our days consisted of moving from the deck...to the lounge chairs...to the hammock...the pool...and walking the beach! Edwin and Erma cooked for us whenever, and lots of restaurants close by with excellent cuisine. So glad we chose this over the huge all inclusive places. Here there was no traffic or crowds. The place was spotless, comfortable, and full of interesting touches. The host, Mac, was so helpful, answering many of my questions about traveling in Mexico. The best vacation!

Tulum

Amazingly beautiful. Edwin and Erma are very attentive, more than generous with their time and made are stay incredible. Highly recommend this villa for a romantic getaway Close to Tulum city for great food, shopping and attractions. Can’t even imagine a better spot. Looking forward to returning. Mac, the owner, was available for all our questions and walked us through our trip from booking, recommendations for best restaurants and so much more. I really didn’t want to leave.

run, don't walk

This is just about perfect! Your own beach. Your own pool. Edwin and Erma were incredible - we were there during a storm and Edwin worked hard to keep the generators going and our power was undisputed (most of the other houses we noticed had no lights) Erma provided impeccable term down service and we enjoyed a beautiful meal cooked by our hosts right on the beach - incredible lobster and margaritas. Hosts were also very mindful about our privacy - just perfect. Mack was 100% reachable and helpful at all times. We hope we are lucky enough to come back again. A really memorable stay, worth the splurge for a special celebration (our 25th)

Perfect slice of paradise

Fantastic experience from start to finish! The property owner was extremely responsive in providing resources and guidance leading up to our trip. While on property, we were honored to have meals cooked for us exclusively for a nominal fee. Daily housekeeping was provided and the couple caring for the property made us feel at home. We took advantage of private massages under our canopy which were outstanding. The view from our villa was very peaceful. We loved being right on the water with an infinity pool. It was hard to leave this perfect bungalow for two and we will certainly be back.

Perfect Romantic oasis

He stayed at Casa Vendaval for 5 nights for our anniversary. It was perfect. Our own private palapa with hammocks and also the most wonderful spot for yoga. The private pool was such a treat and such a delightful way to cool off after a day of golf. The suite have everything we needed. We were even able watch a playoff hockey game! Edwin and his wife were very kind and helpful when needed. Mac our host was very easy to communicate with and gave us lots of details and where to dine, shop and for other activities. We had a wonderful time and would stay again and definitely recommend to our friends and family.

Amazing stay

Very secure location. The pictures do not do justice to how nice the setting is. The cottage is perfect size for a couple. The pool was amazing and proximity to the ocean/beach is great. You hear the ocean 24x7. Beach/Ocean is a bit rocky so bring beach shoes. Great location for Chichen Itza, Tulum ruins, local beaches, coba and more. Playa del carmen is about 30 minutes away by car. Best of all was Edwin and Emma. They went out of their way to make the stay great. Emma cooks and offers a nice menu, property is cleaned and pool well maintained daily. And the cottage is fully services every day. And covered parking. We really loved our stay and will come back again.

Noisy visit

Beautiful location, property and friendly service. However, the area would lose power 2-3 times per day. When the power was out, the sound of generators interrupted any chance of a quiet visit. The area also has numerous construction sites, including the neighboring property. So when the generators weren't disturbing us, the hammering and sawing were. If you are looking for any type of peace and quiet, this is not the property.

Perfect place for an adult timeout!

This house is amazing. Every detail is perfect. Mac has everything you could possibly need stocked in the house, down to the fine details. The bed is super comfy. Walter and Maritza (caretakers) are extremely helpful and will go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable. Maritza is a great cook and provides a menu if you wanna stay in and not worry about cooking. The house is extra clean so no Covid worries! Do yourself a favor and put yourself in timeout from the world. Turn off your cell phone, don’t turn on the TV and take in the surroundings, you won’t regret it!

Relaxing getaway!

From our arrival through to the last day, Casa Vendaval was a dream. As others have stated, Walter and Maritza are wonderful caretakers, always available but never intrusive. We asked Maritza to fix dinner twice for us that week and they were better than any restaurant meal we experienced. Her lobster is out of this world! The fajitas were fantastic and the ceviche for 2 that she prepared for us, we snacked on for a few days! The house was immaculate and the beach front beautiful. We were glad to have brought water shoes to be able to walk down the beach and into the water. We did take advantage of the hotel next door for dinner as well as Casa Altamar for breakfast a couple times (the huevos rancheros were a hit!) The only aspect of the trip that was not so great was the dirt road leading to the house. After reading several reviews we decided to rent an SUV and glad we did! The potholes and “topes” were almost impassable even with a larger vehicle! Over all, it was a relaxing, fun, and much needed vacation. We would gladly stay here again!

Beautiful house - awesome pool

We spent 6 nights at Mac’s house, which is exactly as pictured. High end finishes, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The only negative and the reason for one star deduction is the 5 dogs next door. They literally barked at all hours, day and night, from the patio overlooking the house, whenever we were at the house. It’s otherwise a very quite neighborhood so the sharp loud and constant barking completely disrupted the peace of the place. I complained to Mac and he indicated he messaged the neighbor, but got no response. I realize it’s not in Mac’s control but I did ask before we booked about the dogs because another review mentioned them and was told they wouldn’t be a problem. That didn’t turn out to be true. Martiza and Walter, the caretakers, were great and we did have them cook dinner for us one night. The best lobster I can remember having! Not cheap, but very very good. Overall we enjoyed our stay, did lots of Mayan ruins (Tulum, biosphere, Cobá), borrowed the bikes from next door one day and went up to the locale cenote, ate dinner at the hotel next door, and relaxed by the lovely pool.

Almost hesitant to share

This is our second stay at Casa Vendaval -- we were there a few years ago. Mac, the owner happened to be passing through this time and told us he'd built it in 2015-16, so it must have been brand new when we were there. Well, it's STILL brand new. A few spots on the outside where you can see the effect of salt air coming from the ocean about 10 yards away, but basically brand new. And I chalk that up to fantastic maintenance. I asked my wife what she'd like to add, and she said, "Immaculate!" Then she came back a couple of minutes later and said, "Like, eat off the floor immaculate!" Irma scrubbed the inside as if it were an operating room. Meanwhile, Edwin scrubbed -- SCRUBBED -- the outside. We had a cloudy day with high winds. The windows were misty. The next day he arrive with a ladder and attacked the screens. Then a thorough wash of Every window. Equipment? Name it. 3 different kinds of wine openers. Ice cube trays. Most places in Mexico have a big water jug on a stand for drinking water. Vendaval has a pressurized tank under the kitchen sink with a dedicated faucet. Life jackets in the closet. Spices in the pantry. 6-month supply of Q-Tips and paper supplies. And NICE toilet paper - not that nasty waxed paper kind. Location? Spit to the pool. Spit from the pool to the ocean. Edwin, of course, rakes the sand on the beach like a Zen Garden. Easy drive to Tulum, or short trip to 6 or more restaurants. Planning our next visit.
