Everyone here was kind and helpful. My room was cleaned regularly, and staff checked in on me on a day when I felt under the weather. Breakfast was plentiful, healthy, and yummy. And whether you have a big or small appetite, it will satisfy you. I highly recommend, and would book again if I go back to the city.

Der Empfang war unfreundlich und nicht professionell. Es wurde für den Abstellplatz des Autos sofort Geld verlangt. Erst nach mehrmaliger Aufforderung wurde uns das Zimmer gezeigt...... Der Treppenaufgang zum Zimmer ist gruselig- zu Recht wurde hiervon kein Foto veröffentlicht.

Excellent accueil d'Ali et son épouse dans cette magnifique villa du début du XXe siècle. Lieu magnifique chargé d'une belle âme. Petit déjeuner au top avec d'excellents produits. Les repas sont aussi très bien cuisinés. Un beau jardin entoure cette villa, ce qui permet de se détendre au calme en pleine ville. Très bon choix pour passer quelques temps dans la capitale tunisienne. Je recommande la "Villa des Palmes" sans retenue.

I had a great stay here, the owners are very kind people and make you feel at home. I found the room quiet and peaceful and enjoyed the breakfast in the mornings overlooking the garden. Lots of interesting places are walkable from the hotel. Would recommend!

Charmant et confortable

Séjourner chez Ali est une expérience mémorable ! La villa, parfaitement placée, offre un havre de paix grâce à son magnifique jardin et sa décoration ravissante. Outdated and overpriced. The property is very old design and not repainted, the heating is old radiators which are not sufficient for the cold. Shared spaces and close quarters are not good for privacy. This is a bed and breakfast from a nice couple, but not what we needed at the time. The garden is not maintained and consists of outdated handmade funiture. The guest house is a 2 story climb up a spiral staircase to a small room with no substantial heat, TV or ample space. Room service is nonexistent and all food must extra pay for dining with the hosts, also overpriced. We filled out an old fashioned papework, took a bath, and immediately went to the Marigold some 3 blocks away. Quaint, but unnecessary. I did thank the owner Ali for his efforts, but unfortunately it was not modern enough for our desire.

This was a charming and comfortable place to spend several days in Tunis. It’s old and lovely and the hosts are excellent and incredibly kind and knowledgeable. It is quiet and peaceful and a little quirky with old movie posters and fabulous antiques. Highly recommended and we would happily stay again.

Cosy et spacieux, une vraie évasion

Si vous recherchez de l’authenticité et un accueil personnalisé, vous êtes à la bonne adresse ! Décor, que ce soit dans les parties communes ou dans les chambres, fait voyager, raconte des histoires. Les hôtes sont aux petits soins avec les voyageurs et sont très arrangeants. Personnel gentil et attentionné. On se croit vraiment comme chez soi. Je garde un très bon souvenir de mon séjour, et je n’hésiterai pas à y retourner !

Tres bon acceuil et conseils pour le séjour. Echange par Facebook facile et reactif. On se sent comme chez soi. Décoration éclectique et originale reussie. Le quartier est calme et agréable. Centre et aeroport facilement accessibles. C est mon deuxième sejour et je reviendrai.

Oasis in a busy town!

Villa Les Palmes is a beautiful, historic and peaceful estate of colonial times. We had a suite with tastefull interior and balconies in two directions. The breakfast was served downstairs in the creativly decorated diningroom with large windows, much light, fresh air and direct exit to the veranda and garden. You can also order dinner and drinks in the evening and enjoy it outside in the tranquil garden. The whole house gives you inspiration with its artistic character. We met the politeful owner couple several times. They gave good service. We had nice conversations together and got interesting inside information about the town and the country. Outside the entrance with trees and a nice garden you find a vibrious crossing with a nearby school, the metro and a small cafe. The old Medina er about 1,5 km away. You can easily get a cheap taxi right in front of the estate. Thank you very much for a relaxing stay!

On a passé un très bon séjour, la suite est très agréable et confortable avec un décor très original. Les propriétaires sont accueillants et chaleureux et disponible, madame Ofla cuisine très bien il faut absolument essayer sa cuisines.

Un havre de paix

Dans la chaleur et l'agitation de Tunis, j'ai été surpris et ravi de trouver cette très belle maison. Beaucoup de charme, bien décorée, originale. Des suites magnifiques qui nous font voyager dans le temps. Très bonne literie, propre, calme, tout est fait pour passer une nuit paisible. J'y ai passé un bon moment, serein, avec un hôte très accessible avec qui on peut partager. Merci pour ce bon moment.
