The Space:

The apartment is a spacious, well-kept open-plan studio on the fourth floor of the building, accessed by stairs only, with dark wood flooring and light walls that keep the room bright. The sleeping area features a comfortable double bed for two, bedside tables with reading lamps, and a full-height built-in wardrobe so you can unpack properly. A smart divider wall subtly separates the bed from the living area and includes small display shelves for a homely touch. The dining corner comes with a table and chairs—great for breakfast, a quiet dinner, or working on a laptop. The modern kitchen, finished in bold red cabinetry, offers a practical layout with hob, oven, fridge, sink and dishwasher, plus ample counter space to cook with ease. The bathroom is generous and functional, highlighted by an extra-large shower cabin that’s especially comfortable after a day in the city. Neutral furnishings, uncluttered surfaces and warm lighting create a calm, easy base for both short and longer stays. Storage is a strong point: there’s room for luggage, coats and daily essentials without the space feeling crowded. Wide circulation areas make it easy to move around, and the layout works well for couples or solo travellers on a business trip.



The Neighborhood:

Via San Francesco da Paola sits in one of Turin’s most central, elegant areas, framed by historic façades and a distinctly local pace of life. Within a short walk you’ll find cafés for breakfast, restaurants and wine bars for the evening, supermarkets, bakeries and small shops for daily essentials. It’s an excellent base for exploring on foot: many of the city’s main squares, museums and cultural venues are nearby, while the riverside paths along the Po offer a scenic route for a morning run or sunset stroll. The neighbourhood is active during the day yet typically quieter at night, so you can enjoy the benefits of the centre without feeling overwhelmed. You’ll also be close to practical services such as pharmacies and banks, plus plenty of options for takeaway or quick lunches. Overall, it’s a classic Turin address—walkable, well connected, and perfect for experiencing the city with minimal planning. If you’re into architecture and city wandering, the surrounding streets are ideal for slow walks between arcades, courtyards and small galleries. It’s also a convenient spot for meetings or studying, with many quiet corners and coffee places suited to working out of the apartment.



Getting Around:

Getting around is easy from here: Turin’s centre is highly walkable, so many sights and everyday stops can be reached on foot. Public transport is close by, with several bus and tram lines on nearby streets connecting you quickly to museums, university areas and other lively districts. For longer journeys, you can reach the main train stations (Porta Nuova and Porta Susa) conveniently by public transport or taxi. Taxis and ride-hailing are generally available, especially in central hours. For a greener option, bike and e-scooter sharing can be a handy way to move between neighbourhoods and down to the Po. Driving is possible, but in central areas it’s worth checking parking options and any traffic restrictions—most guests find walking plus transit the simplest combo for a city stay. Airport transfers can be done by taxi or dedicated public connections depending on the time of day. From this location, day trips are simple: regional and high-speed trains make it easy to visit other Piedmont towns or continue to major northern Italian cities.
