“Try the foie gras at the restaurant-fabulous! Breakfasts were delicious as well.”

“Hôtel Bien-Être Aux Cyprès de Marquay is a wonderful place to stay in the heart of the Périgord Noir. The hotel is situated in the beautiful and peaceful village of Marquay, surrounded by the magnificent countryside of the Périgord Noir. It is the perfect location for exploring the region while still offering a wonderfully calm and relaxing place to return to at the end of the day. The property is charming and full of character. What made our stay truly special was Mario. He was incredibly……

“Fabuleux !

“Clean hotel, free parking 50 meters away. Good value for money.”

“Benedict (front desk) very friendly, helpful. Good parking. Restaurant not available because of group.”

“Jolie chambre propre belle piscine et personnel agréable”

“Alles ok, vriendelijk, proper, goed ontbijt.”

“Lovely old property close to towns in the scenic Dordogne. A car is essential. We stayed in the old castle which was charming. Excellent restaurant - be sure to book ahead.”

“A lovely family-run hotel that has a warm and joyful vibe. The owners, their little girl serving tables on a busy night, absolutely everyone made me feel welcomed and cared for. As a vegetarian, the very kind owners prepared dishes suitable to my diet. The swimming pool was clean, refreshing and set in a serene setting. Even the guests were friendly and courteous. I recommend this hotel highly and will be returning every chance I get. A staff member even loaned me her special glasses to view the……

“Beautiful location overlooking Sarlat valley. Peaceful property and exquisite restaurant. Very nice staff and well-maintained hotel. Very quick access to Sarlat town.”

“Tiny room for three, but highly functional if used for the basics. Neat details and exceptionally clean! The staff was great and breakfast was flawless! Parking is super convenient.”

“What a great pleasure the hotel was. Came for the Caves but would return just for the hotel.”

“This is a beautiful hotel with a beautiful spa area.”

“The hotel décor is good, very clean and comfortable. Staffs are excellent, friendly and patient. Breakfast is good. Hotel is next to St Lazard station, convenience to take train and metro. Unfortunately the shower room has no curtain, after shower, especially washing hair, toilet is all wet. If this is not improved, I don't think I will stay again as shower is very important after a long day without taking care of watering on the floor.”
