“The facilities are outdated, and the soundproofing is very poor.”

“Despite my talking to the front desk and requesting several times, they never cleaned my room. The housekeeping staff was always gone by four and I did not return to the room until 415 to discover that they missed me. They asked me to put something on the door so that they would clean and I did but then they missed me again and told me the door hanger had to have checkmarks in certain boxes which no one explained to me. So I had different adult staying in this large room because we were there……

“This is a lovely, unpretentious motel located in Murphy. Easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The room was quiet, comfortable and clean. It is about a 10-12 minute drive to the John C Campbell Folk School and easy driving to various trails and scenic spots.”

“The grounds are absolutely beautiful! The room was very clean and well kept. Nice covered pavilion with several grills and a nice fire pit. Will definitely be a returning soon.”

“Easy check in, rooms were clean, breakfast was ok but can’t complain about free food. Parking was easy and spacious. Staff was above and beyond. The manager I’m assuming at the front always asked how our rooms were and if we were comfortable. Our first day there our battery to the fire alarm died. I messaged them and they were there really fast to get that changed out. Would go back if we ever go to Georgia again!”

“The cabin was much more than expected. You could not find a bigger slice of home anywhere on the ocoee River. Bigfoot cabins are the way to go. A fully stocked house with charcoal grills, plates silverware. Rainfall shower head. Again I cannot recommend this place highly enough to satisfy how nice it is.”

“The cabin I stayed in on willow creek drive - waterfalls and it was so beautiful and peaceful. I enjoyed my one night stay and will be booking again. Thanks for having such a nice area to have a peace mind and the hot tub was excellent. So relaxing!”
