"This site is definitely off the beaten track but not far from Cefalu where we went to visit. When we checked in the host told us about an local festival going on that evening so we walked the 8 minutes to the site of then festival and were able to sample some of the local cuisine. Every morning we awoke to the sound of bells from the local sheep herds. On Sunday morning we attended Mass at the local parish where we were part of a 50 year wedding celebration. It was a little out of Cefalu and I would have preferred something a little closer or alternatively I stayed in the actual resort at another time and enjoyed the location more. "This little hotel is an absolute treasure. From the check-in to the cleaning staff. Everyone is helpful and kind. The rooms are modern with high end furnishings. I can not think of a single bad comment. Breakfast was superb. The variety and freshness everyday was impressive. And the dining room has several outdoor areas with gorgeous views so we lingered with coffee every day. The staff at breakfast sorry I didn’t get their names were a credit to the hotel as were the cleaning staff. The location is a few steps to the sandy beach and 10 minute walk from the train station with old town Cefalu a minute away. I am so impressed and pleased that we stayed here."
