Significant amount of maintenance going on at the moment. Lots of areas cordoned off. The spa at the tropical pool is not in operation due to maintenance. But we've. Been here 5 days and haven't seen anyone working on it. The spa at the main lagoon pool area was lovely for the first two nights. Then didn't work on the third. Desk guy came out and looked. He got the maintenance guy who eventually said we'll have to get the pool people out to fix it. That was 3 days ago and it's still not working. I imagine things will be better when they've got through the current lot of maintenance. But given the lack of action on the only available spa we won't bother staying here again.

This resort was nice and has great potential but unfortunately it hasn’t been maintained as well as it should have been over the years. The silicone in the shower was full of mould and the tv was so outdated we couldn’t even watch a movie. The only food available during the day was a toastie or a pizza made by the bar staff. The girl in charge of the bar seemed scattered and like she was off with the fairies. Service was slow even though it was extremely quiet and there wasn’t usually more than 1 person at the bar at a time. In my opinion the rooms are incredibly overpriced. Our room was tiny, and needed a deep clean. Even a basic clean. We could still see the love notes the previous guests had written on the shower glass when the bathroom steamed up. TV was old and outdated. No option for streaming services. We did love the pool! It was beautiful and so relaxing. Maintenance is definitely required in the spa though. It’s definitely not a horrible resort but not somewhere I would personally pay to stay again.

Fantastic stay!! The reception was so welcoming (and smelled delightful) and the staff on the desk were so friendly and helpful. The lovely lady who checked us in remembered us during our stay which was so thoughtful. The lagoon pool is literally incredible. So big and spacious with ample pool lounges. We are enjoyed that the pool area was open until 10pm and enjoyed a late night swim/spa. Our room was so spacious, comfortable bed and fantastic in room spa. Honestly we can’t wait to return again soon!
