Thar in the Mojave - A Joshua Tree Retreat

The property is well appointed to spend a quality and comfortable time with friends and family both indoors and out.
a few minutes to the Joshua Tree National Park and all other local attractions. absolute seclusion yet easy access.
bask in the warm sun, breathe the pollution free air and rejuvenate. very quite area of the high desert, away from the crowds.
enjoy all the action the area has to offer, but retire to your peaceful haven when done or simply put your feet up and kickback at the house.

we are obsessed with the deserts of this world. this particular one, we've tried to provide a theme of the Thar desert. hence the name, Thar in the Mojave.

A quiet retreat

Totally enjoyed our stay. If you are looking for a secluded and quiet place to stay this is the one. It is about a 25 minute drive to Joshua tree, but the drive was enjoyable and we had fun. Looking at night stars was fabulous and am evening dinner on the porch wonderful. Would come again if we were to visit Joshua Tree NP.

Break from day to day and relax

House was clean and as described on VRBO. Location is secluded and very peaceful. We loved to sit outside in the mornings while having breakfast. In the night we had a small fire in the fire ring with kids singing and dancing and had some Smores. It is absolutely quiet in the night and stars look beautiful. It was very nice to get disconnected form day to day life even though we had cellphone connectivity we didn't feel the urge to go online or check messages. Vik is great at communication, he is very prompt in responding and answering any questions and made us feel comfortable.

Secluded, peaceful

I would reccomend arriving during daylight for initial entry as all the steps that were sent would have made it easier to navigate if we could see. 😊 We were able to bring our dog which we enjoyed. It was clean, comfortable, lots if space, beautiful views, quiet. We would have like to open windows for air & ventilation but overall comfortable stay.
