Vine & Branches Inn is a fresh and comfortable hotel-style room. You will feel at home in the clean and completely renovated space. Practical amenities include A/C, microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. Curl up on the dangerously comfy bed for a nap, relax with some Netflix, or go outside for some fresh air. Soak in views of Lake Superior, or walk a few steps and enjoy some smoked fish from Lou’s— a North Shore Tradition! Just across the street is homemade fudge, gifts and trains at Burlington Station!

I feel deceptive marketing was used and I would not recommend booking here. It’s a small motel with little going for it but a smoked fish store? I tried to cancel but management did not respond. I felt there should have been a number to call. I also feel the ratings were pretty high for a small semi-updated motel with new paint and a sketchy part of town. I paid insurance but the VRBO APP said I was too late. The day of 2 hours prior to arrival. Never again.

Location was not what I was expecting. Just off the road so a bit noisy. Room was beautifully decorated but very small space. Was close to many activities. I loved Agate Bay and Castle Danger Brewery. Host was very accessible.

The rental unit was suitable for our needs for our visit. However, we found a tablet of medication on the floor near the bed and the pull to close the sink drain in the bathroom was not functioning. A curtain or room darkening shade on the back window to block out the lights from the CircleK parking lot would be helpful for guests to get a better night's sleep.

The room was nice, the bed and pillows were comfortable with choices of pillow types, lots of bath towels. Most of all, easy to find and very convenient to all the attractions on Hwy 61, including food. Host was great!

Nice location

When exploring the North Shore this was a good place for home base. Nice, clean “motel-like” room was perfect for our needs. Two Harbors has some great stops such as CastleDanger brewery and the Tipsy Mosquito wine bar.

If we return to Two Harbors, we are definitely staying here again. The room is clean and comfortable and Becky is a wonderful, communicative, and accommodating host! With the fridge, microwave, AC, and full bathroom, we had all the necessities, and it was a perfect stop on our trip. A great place to stay if you’re coming from Duluth and going North as it’s half an hour from the city, and only 10-15 minutes South of Gooseberry Falls and Split Rock. Locally, all necessary stores are walkable, with nearby grocery, gas, and dining. Only downsides of the town are that store hours are limited and many aren’t open past 3 or 4 PM, and the town itself seems a little more run down than it was ten years ago. That being said, there are many nearby areas to explore that don’t close with the buildings around it, like the beaches and trails. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay here and send our gratitude to the simple, comfortable lodging and outstanding host!
