Secluded North Shore cottage near the lake with cozy fireplace & modern comforts

Escape demands of city living and welcome relaxation! Our cottage is tucked away in the woods of the North Shore. Take in the views of Lake Superior or visit historical lighthouses, then head back to the cottage and relax around the fire.

Close to town, the shores of Lake Superior, snowmobile trails, and only 25 miles from Duluth.

Enjoy fast Wi-fi, washer & dryer, free-parking, A/C, and a cozy gas fireplace.

As our cottage is in the woods, it is also home to many beautiful animals including bear, deer, foxes, and coyotes.

The wildlife typically avoid humans, but they love garbage and are attracted by the smell of food. Always bring all food inside at the end of the night.

Great location to visit the North Shore!

Great location for exploring the surrounding area. The cabin was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. A few more kitchen amenities would have been helpful, but overall we really enjoyed our time here. Would recommend!

Peaceful escape.We just needed a couple days to unwind and relax.Beautiful setting in the woods.

We had a great 2 nights stay.Campfire time after a relaxing hike and seeing some sites in Two Harbors.We would definitely do another trip to the area and stay in the same place.The cottage is perfect!

Very nice private cabin. It was close enough to Gooseberry Falls and Two Harbors to be convenient but far enough away to be private. The deck was great to sit and watch the birds and wildlife. The interior was very clean and cozy.

This property met our needs perfectly. It was very clean and new. The cabin was cozy and warm. The bed was comfortable. The shower was nice and hot. Phone and wifi connection were good. I would stay at this cabin again.

Beautiful little romantic home base!

It’s our honeymoon, and this little cabin couldn’t have been more perfect! Cozy little place to stay as we ventured out on day trips to nearby parks. Clean and comfortable. Beautifully maintained. Secluded and private. Fireplace was cozy, kitchen well equipped, and everything was fantastic for our stay. The only downside to the cabin was the light on the pole outside, which I completely understand is likely there for safety, but it limited our stargazing. A minor thing for an otherwise perfect place.

great cabin near the north shore

we loved staying here! the fire pit was great and barbara and derk left plenty of firewood. we also made great use of the grill! perfect for a small group with quick access to downtown two harbors and nearby state parks.

Really nice and comfortable setting and place. Perfect size for the two of us. It was our home base while heading out daily on hikes. Very clean, plenty of hot water, TV/heat/air all worked great! Played Darts on nice electronic board in garage. Nice fire pit unfortunately it rained and we had no time to use.

Hidden gem

Great little cabin with lots of privacy. Close to a lot of places of interest along the north shore. Boating, biking, hiking all really close. Hosts were extremely responsive.
