Nairobi Two Rivers Mall Hotels

" 1. Courtesy called the hotel at 1230pm to inform them that we will be checking in around 430pm. However, after checking in and going to the shower, they forgot to put in the shower towels. 2. After check-in, as I took a nap not wearing much alongside my partner, who was breastfeeding, a woman (who was a hotel staff member) used an electronic key and walked into our room without knocking. After realizing her mistake, she said sorry and quickly left. Then I saw a do not disturb sign outside the door. We are foreigners who sought out a good hotel based on security and safety. Felt uneased for the rest of the night. 3. Informed reception upon check-in that I would be having a guest come visit me in the restaurant. Although I provided the name of the visitor, they kept him waiting outside the gate for over 20 minutes until I came down to inquire about the whereabouts of my guest. Once she remembered that I had already informed her, she shook her head and apologized for the mishap. Why did you do that? I felt bad for him. 4. Since we chose this hotel based on the proximity of the US Embassy, I was assured by the receptionist that they had a fully-functional printer-scanner. Upon checking out, I needed to print some documents, but wasted over 20 mins watching the staff try to print/scan until they finally gave up. We missed breakfast to hurry to get a taxi to find a cyber cafe to print. Big inconvenience! Lady at bar was perfect. Overall, bad experience on my birthday. VR"

"Comfortable stay."

"The room was cleanly kept, upon my arrival each day. And the staff was always cheery with a smile, very easy to talk to. The room had a minisplit air conditioner that could freeze you out in minutes if you wanted, and their WiFi and smart TVs were modern and fast, didn’t run into power hiccups or latency issues. Their pool was cleanly and they also have nice well behaved cats that you’ll see from time to time just as elsewhere within Nairobi. I really enjoyed being right beside village market and the security for the hotel was always so friendly. The morning breakfast was always a treat, and they also serve supper if requested I believe. They have ice cold beer as well! I’ll definitely be using comfort gardens in my future trips."

"The service was out of this world. The reception staff was phenomenal. Always smiling, always helpful, extremely understanding. The breakfast buffet was diverse, varied, and excellent !!! The rooms were very comfortable and very accommodating. Highly recommended. Would definitely repeat it again"
