Location was perfect, easy walk to the river which is where we spent most of our time. The house was beautiful and very clean. Lots of deck and porch space to hang out in.Communication was really great; we felt very welcomed and appreciated.

Wonderful Vacation

The house was clean, perfect size for us. This is a quiet peaceful place to vacation. Easy check in and they call to make sure everything was good. We had a great time and hope to get to go back.

Location, location, location was absolutely perfect. Property was clean overall. It would be awesome if motion lights are added outside. This spot is excellent for an extended stay or a short getaway.

Vitamin Sea for the WIN

The house is gorgeous and spacious. Great location, close to beach, restaurants and shops. Only suggestions would be to update the beds, provide more towels (washcloths and hand towels) in bathrooms and perhaps a bigger water heater. If more than one shower being used at once, water is lukewarm. We loved the outside decks with seating and the open concept on third floor.

Management

Received a phone call from the manager telling us her worker drove by and told her we “had a bunch of people at the house”. Really? House sleeps 8 and we had 7. Strike 1. Then we discover that for a house that sleeps 8 (4 bedrooms) there is only 2 parking spaces. So one of our cars has to park on the grass. The manager told us we might get a ticket. Strike 2. They need to provide parking tags for the cars is this is an issue. She said they couldn’t afford them because they were 300 a year. Seriously?! A small price to pay for making sure your guests don’t get a ticket. I will never use Mermaid Cottages again.

Vitamin Sea Tybee Island Visit

Overall, our family really enjoyed the visit at Vitamin Sea. The house has enough space for all of us. A few items that we mentioned to the management company was the dishwasher wasn’t working snd we found mouse droppings in the kitchen, which we had to clean up

Amazing!!

We had such a wonderful time at this property! It was clean, spacious, bright, and everything we hoped for. It is in a safe walkable area that is a super short walk to the beach. We had such a wonderful experience with the property manager and the cleaning crew. They were great at communicating promptly, accommodating our needs, and being flexible with us. I could not recommend this property enough if you are coming to the area!!

Great stay!

We had a fantastic time at this house! It is beautiful and clean. Plenty of space for our group of 7. The property manager was so easy to communicate with and extremely accommodating when I made a special request to adjust the check-in time. Would absolutely stay here again when in Tybee Island!

Family stay

Mermaid is a pleasure to deal with for property. Great customer service! Property is just like picture and description!!!! Property is in great location and was spacious for our family and everyone was comfortable. Property was well equipped with everything you need for a stay. Family had a great time! We had an issue with ice maker (didnt work) and the mermaids brought us ice within an hour:) Only recommendation would be to update a bit (sheets , towels )and move furniture on deck out of the line of rain. If it rains and it it did on us can’t use deck (which is amazing wrapping around house) as it gets soaked.

Loved it!

We were close to everything-the bay, the beach, shopping restaurants. Loved being able to walk everywhere. The house itself was big enough for our party of seven. The neighborhood was quiet and we sat out on the porches more than inside!

Vitamin Sea - just what the Dr ordered

We chose Vitamin Sea because of the location on the island and the 4 bedrooms. We were in town for our son’s wedding and this was the perfect house for needs. The house was very clean. Loved the views from the kitchen/ family room. The property manager was in contact with us after we arrived and also arranged for an extra day when one of our guests woke up sick on the morning of our original departure. Great stay!
