Perfect getaway!

Super cute and clean condo close to the beach. The beds were comfortable. It was within walking distance to attractions and restaurants while being on the quiet end of the beach.

Would stay here again in a heartbeat

We enjoyed our vacation so much! The location and convenience of this property made our vacation relaxing and fun. Parking at both the north and south beach can be difficult to find so not having to drive to go to the beach was a huge perk. We would stay here again if visiting Tybee in the future!

Wonderful Location

The check in process and communication prior to our arrival was fantastic! The property is in a perfect location. Very accessible with a short drive to any of the restaurants and stores on the Island. There are walk ways with easy access to the beach. The beach is very clean and you will virtually have it to yourself! The pools in the complex are well kept and have a regular cleaning schedule. We did have a need to communicate with the owner and rental company while there and both got back with us in a very timely manner. Overall we had a great stay!

Great quiet getaway

Nice condo in a great quiet complex with tons of beach. Plenty of space for the 3 of us. Nice kitchen. Comfortable beds. Great balcony views of the Savannah river and the ocean. Multiple walkways out to the beach. Community grills and pool were clean and well kept. No disappointments.

Condo close to quiet beach

Clean and comfortable condo for my family of 4. Easily walkable to beach. Short drive to other beaches, and other activities. Pool and grill area were a nice bonus to the rental. Host provided great communication and responded to any concerns quickly. Pay for parking everywhere on island was a negative as was the loud construction work completed on property all week both of which host had no control over.

Fun beach getaway

We had a great time. Wonderful location to watch ships and enjoy walks on beach. It is about a 5 minute walk to the beach. Be aware and careful of the waves from the large cargo ships if you go into the water. We also saw dolphins which is always delightful. It is less crowded than the other parts of the island which we liked. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants and shops too.

Family vacay

Very nice quiet location! Felt that everything was as stated. Only issue was dishwasher broke which we found out about on our drive down which was fine but the new one was installed on our last day which was rather inconvenient. Was to be notified before they came to do install and unfortunately received a text very late when they had already been at the place for sometime. Thank goodness we were dressed and awake and then of course felt we had to stay until complete. Just not something we expected to do on our vacation.

New Years getaway

A weekend getaway with my 19 year-old daughter, her 20-year old boyfriend and myself found us looking for the perfect spot. This condo was IT. A "kid's bedroom" afforded my daughter and I two very comfortable twin beds while we placed the boyfriend in the master bedroom overlooking the beach. The balcony area is spacious and we had fun watching the cargo ships come by us. We had the perfect location to explore Tybee and Savannah, while remaining secluded from the noise in Savannah. Beautiful walking area and blessed quiet hours at night were just what we needed for this NYE weekend away. A short drive to the pier afforded us fireworks at midnight.

Peaceful vacation

The condo is located in a convenient area. The complex was quiet and peaceful. The pool areas were very nice and kept clean. We were pleased to see two pools with plenty of comfy chairs. I would say the beach is more than “steps” away and most of walk is on a small sandy path. The beach was awesome and not crowded at all. We found a lot of beautiful shells. Condo management was very responsive to any issues or questions. Condo is on the smaller side but very comfortable for two people. We had a great time and would rent again.

Perfect location

My friend and I really enjoyed our "girls weekend" at the condo. The location was perfect - right on the beach, within walking distance of the lighthouse and the Marine Science Center, and within biking distance of pretty much any of the rest of the island. We had rental bikes delivered while we were there and rarely needed to take our car out. The condo was clean, well maintained, and well stocked for what we needed (breakfast, evening snacks and cocktails on the deck). We did have a bit of a glitch with the showers - the faucets were a little tricky to figure out and some instructions would have helped. But we did eventually figure them out and were able to take showers! We would definitely stay here again on a return to Tybee.

Odor

We stayed for 3 weeks during a particularly cold January and still had a good time. The unit was clean, bright and perfect for the two of us. We have one complaint that will probably prevent us from going back to tybee The water coming out of the faucet’s smelled like rotten eggs. At times it was so strong we had to open the unit up to get rid of the smell. Not sure if a filtration system is a possible solution but in its present state we would no stay there agai

Perfect relaxing getaway condo

Spotlessly clean unit, everything we needed was there whether it was in the kitchen, bedroom, baths, or living quarters. The bed in the master bedroom was as comfortable as ours at home which was a pleasant surprise. Nice view from the balcony, and we liked that we could access the balcony from the bedroom and living room, and there was plenty of seating on it. Very comfortable condo for two adults. The TVR staff were responsive via email prior to arriving and via phone while there. Easy access to the beach and pool. There are a several gas grills that we did not use but checked them out a few times and each time they were clean even though they had been used the night before. We enjoyed the location at the north end of the beach - away from people and traffic. Yes, it was March but on the one Sunday we were there, we got a sense of how many more people there were in mid-to-south ends of the island vs. the north end. It is located in a nice, safe neighborhood to walk in. We had one issue with the tub water that I hate to even mention because it was our fault. We couldn’t get the water to run in spite of pulling hard on the faucet. We were afraid to pull too hard for fear of breaking something. We called and within 20-minutes, James came and gave it a big tug and voila! Water. Just thought I’d pass this on so you know that it’s okay to pull it harder than you think you should.

Tybee Island Perfection

We had one of our most favorite family trips ever at Tybee Island. The place was so perfect for a relaxing getaway. We rented bikes (highly recommend) and used then for everything we did except the Crab Shack (which was amazing too). We had pool days and beach days. And our accomodations were ideal for us. Thank you and we hope to be back soon!

Great Family Vacation Spot

On the quiet end of Tybee, this spot was perfect for a family getaway. Condo was a bit smaller than anticipated but just right for 4 people. Had a nice long deck with a view of the dunes and ocean. Kitchen was well appointed for cooking. Great to have a washer/dryer in the condo. The week before Memorial Day we pretty much had the beach to ourselves. Pool was awesome and not crowded. A short drive to anything we wanted to do on the island. Tybee is a one-of-a-kind destination, kind of quirky in a good way. And don't forget to spend some time in Savannah while you're there, a beautiful city with lots to see and do.
