The cottage was wonderful. Location is great! Easy beach access and access to all the great bars and restaurants Tybee has. The host also had great communication during our stay. We will definitely be back!!

The places very clean and so close to the beach. Parking was the only issue we had it was hard to turn a full size around but got easier as we got use to it.

Beach Haven

We loved this property and it was perfect for our family! It was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were great. The location can't be beat, the beach is half a block away and you can walk to restaurants and shops. The porch is great for relaxing with morning coffee or eating outside. We would definitely come back and stay again!

The mermaids are friendly and help when needed even reach out to us if we leave valuables after our stay. It’s close to the beach and has everything you need to cook after you hit up the IGA. Rooms are big and comfortable. The loft area is my kids favorite. You need to book this place if you’re heading to Tybee to get the real experience.

I love that is ground level and a very short walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. It is very well equipped and the beautiful decor makes you feel like you are in a home instead of a rental. Everyone in my party loved the house! Diane Kaufman from Mermaid Cottages went above and beyond to make my 75th Birthday celebration very special! Thank you so much! I look forward to renting this property from Mermaid Cottages again or one of their other properties. They are awesome!

Nice Tybee Home Away From Home

Perfect location for a family beach vacation- less than a block from the beach and within walking distance from shops and restaurants. The house was comfortable and well located.

Great getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at Mermaid Cottage. Close to the beach and shops and restaurants. Safe and quiet. Very friendly host and she checked on us multiple times to make sure we are comfortable and if we need anything. Strongly recommend.

Great Family House

Having no stairs to deal with was great for the old folks and the two year old! The house has lots of space, was clean, and the beds were comfy. We had a great time!
