Wonderful place

My wife and I had a great stay here!! Our place was exactly as described! Got to watch the dolphins swimming out from the balcony and seeing the massive ships go by was amazing!! Nice quiet place to relax and take in the beauty of the mouth of the river and ocean. Will definitely be on our list to return!

Tybee stay

Very tidy getaway.

We will definitely stay here again. The condo is obviously a little older, but updated very well and extremely neat and tidy. Our condo was on the end overlooking the ocean, and had a magnificent view. The entire area is very clean and quiet, and extremely family-friendly. We are looking forward to staying there again in the near future.

Tybee Island a d Savannah Vacation

The property and furnishings may have been a tad outdated, but very clean and sevicable. Kind of like how things use to be. The kitchen was well equiped and had everything we needed. Overall a very comfortable feeling. The Savannah River views from the balcony, where it empties into the Atlantic, is just as advertised. AWESOME. Dolphins were practically always out there. What's funny is the Dolphine Tour boats would come right up to our beach area to catch a view of the dolphins, whereas we didn't have to take a tour. They were just a few hundred yards off our balcony. Also several times a shrimp trawler anchored right off our beach and stayed there during the night. Nearby restaurants were great. Went fishing on the Pier and caught Sea Trout. Make sure to take the Light House Mueseum tour. Worth every penny. We were also able to explore River Road in Savannah, and the historic district. Great memories

Great location

The property was nice and clean. Pool was awesome and monitored. This location is near where the Savannah river enters the Atlantic. Dolphins coming through each morning and evening, fun to watch!!

Nice little getaway.

Property was just like pictured. Bring your cassettes because that is a tape player pictured :) the radio works just fine btw. Unit was available before check in time and was very clean. We had a great time!

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo! It is right where the Savannah River meets the ocean. Beautiful view from the balcony where you can watch the residential Dolphin swim and play in the water in the mornings and evenings! The condo, gated community and pools are very clean and well kept. We will definitely be returning to stay here on our next trip.

Killer view

Have stayed in same unit several times. Has everything you need, corner unit makes for a great sunset view. Love N Beach location with ships going in and out of the harbor, and the shrimp boats.

Tybee waterfront

The property was just as pictured. It was small but had everything we needed and was very clean. The view from the balcony was superb with shrimp boats just outside which attracted pelicans dolphins and numerous sea birds. we just sat there with our glasses of wine and watched no need to hire a boat

Great location

The unit was perfect for our family of 4. The view from the balcony is the best part! We watched dolphins swimming every day, shrimp boats, and big container ships. Great location, you can easily walk to several shops and restaurants. Definitely eat at Huck a poos! Best pizza ever! Tybeans had great coffee. The unit had everything we needed for our stay, except hair dryer.

Much needed laid back break

Perfect space for the 2 of us. Everything we needed was provided. Hands down best view! Balcony faced the beach for beautiful sunsets, dolphins all day and evening, and boats of all kinds. The view makes it worth every penny, hands down! Short walk to excellent restaurants and coffee! Short drive to Savannah! The vibe is laid back and people are so polite and friendly! Loved it!!

Would not recommend this rental propertyToo pricey and did not meet what was shown in the picture or promisedSecurity was terribleThe security gate was broken. Anyone can come and go. The lock on the door worked half the time was very hard and difficult to get it to work. Every time did not have any type of second security inside and door seem to be gapped.Sliding glass door was off track and we had to try to fix it ourselves stationary part of glass door is gapped about a half inch at the bottom so it sits crooked and lets hot air in which makes your own air conditioning run more than it should and screen door was completely off trackCouch was broke downBed was broke downRefrigerator was rusty on the outsideOutlets are not up to new standards so they were overloaded with multiple plugs plugged into itThere is no additional outlets or plugs to be able to charge new electronic devices. You have to bring your own and that is not told on the advertisement.Oven door handle is about to fall offPots pans, dishes, silverware were chipped stained brokenNo hair dryer as promised in advertisement took until the very last day of our stay for me to get one after being promised every day since I arrivedNo room for additional seating in living room other than broken down couch because there are several bookcases, which does not seem to accommodate people’s needs these daysBalcony furniture is rusted broken and not safe, especially on a third floor unit. Needs upgrades.

Beach and Racquet Club - Unit B308

First time VRBO stay. Place was quite nice for a short stay (4 nights) and would also be fine for a longer stay with just 2 people. Condo is small so if you plan on spending a lot of time inside it is something to consider. Four adults was stretching it. Rental company was pleasant. Location was great if you like North Beach. You give up bigger wave action but gain dolphin watching. Look for them behind the shrimp boats when they come in especially. Loved watching the large ships entering and leaving the Savannah port. View from balcony was superb. Beach was never very crowded. No parking issues as the community is gated. Within walking distance of a few restaurants but the nearest decent grocery store is about 15 minutes away. Bedroom was a bit noisy from a/c units on the roof. Small TV but preferred sitting on the balcony instead. Kitchen was well equipped with dishes, utensils, cookware, etc. The oven is definitely past it’s prime but still usable. The beach is very close to this unit. The unit is located far enough away from the pool area that the noise from kids playing there wasn’t bothersome when relaxing on the balcony. If you are looking specifically at North Beach on Tybee it would be hard to find a location with a better view or that is more convenient to the beach.

Nice Place With Shortcomings

Overall, as my rating suggests, I am pleased with this property. The location is good, the view is nice, and it was clean. There were some things I did not like however. 1) When we got there it was cold, so we turned up the heat. This set off the smoke alarm and I had to manually turn it off every 20 seconds for about 10 mins while the place heated up. 2) The secondary lock on the door might as well have not been there. If anyone had the code to get in, they were getting in. 3) The place is clearly a bit dated. Some minor repairs and touch ups would do the place wonders. That said, this is not a big deal, just an observation. 4) This is the big one, and not the property's fault: The check in process needs work. I arrived after office hours, so the address of the property and the code to get into the place was left in a bright yellow bin next to the rental office. The info was not even sealed in an envelope. Literally anyone could have seen the address and copied the lock code down and then broken into the place we rented. Put a lock on that box and only give the combo to people checking in late that day. Problem, solved. Overall, I would recommend this place but only if you can get your check in details on person and preferably when you don't need to use the heater.
