This was my second time at Honai. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. Nopey and Sherlly were a delight to interact with and the service in the restaurant was top notch. The grounds are a serene place to relax and enjoy nature and the yoga shala is a great place to practice. My room was amazing. A spacious oasis overlooking the pool. I could see the sun come up from my room each morning. I had a wonderful stay at Honai and will definitely come back again.
Amazing! The hotel was so beautiful, loved spending time there and in the spa. Very clean, everything we needed, clam and lovely space. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, would highly recommend this hotel!
Overall the hotell was very nice. Very friendly staff. The only thing we would appreciate more is the waiting times, alot of things took way to long, like food and drinks.
A dream in the dream... the resort is very beautiful and comfortable, but what I appreciated the most is the friendly staff and the benefits it offers: massages, photo shooting, bike rental and so on. They treat you like a queen. I wish I had booked Honai Resort for more than 2 nights.
Beautiful resort hotel in Ubad. Beautiful location. Fantastic landscaping Free hotel shuttle to downtown area. Premium bedding and linens. Giagantic tub. Staff very friendly. Nice coffee bar and bar for local type licquor drinks. Excellent food in restaurant. Fantastic prices. Excellent spa services.
Having only 12 rooms you really feel like everybody takes the time to get to know you here.
The rooms are spacious and the beds really comfy. The grounds and pool area are beautiful.
Only 6 sun beds around the pool, which was a bit frustrating sometimes as there is nowhere else to go and sit in the sun when they're all taken.
The spa is expensive but a welcome treat. And it really is worth the money. Anna does the most incredible Balinese massage.
I was under the impression when I booked that there were yoga and mediation classes provided. This is not the case. This was disappointing, but I was able to borrow a yoga mat and I practiced in the beautiful yoga shala or in my room.
The free shuttle service makes it really easy to get into Ubud and it's only £3-4 to get a taxi if you want to stay out later.
The staff are really attentive and cannot do enough to help.
I would definitely stay here again.

Nice room but...
This is a new hotel and it lacks a bit of atmosphere. Rooms are nice and clean but there is no intimacy since there are windows all over the room and it is right on the ground and path where staff and guests walk. There are plants but it is not enough to protect the intimacy. Myself, when I was walking, I was able to see the inside of rooms when curtains were open.
Also, for those who are looking to do yoga, this not the right place. There is a yoga studio but it is used by meditation and yoga classes from the outside. If your room is next to the studio, expect to hear some strange and loud noise at 6:00 in the morning. There were also a group who was doing a kind of meditation and dance with percussion in the afternoon and this noise was far from relaxing.
Breakfast is satisfactory but lacks of variety and there is no espresso machine.
Finally, staff is nice and they tried to do their best to make my stay enjoyable. Since I was so disappointed about not having yoga classes at this hotel, they offer me free motorcycle ride to go to the center of Ubud.
It is a hotel with potential but few things need to be fixed to make it very good and pleasant.
