The location had a great view of the city and the mountains. The pool was clean and the staff was nice. Things that could have been better. The rooms could have been more air tight and the hotel could use to invest in a water system for the washrooms water. It was hard water and it was not the best on the skin

Fraudulent currency conversion rate w/out consent
I had guaranteed the stay to my Visa which was to be charged in case I donot show up. Hotel collected full payment on visa 4 days prior to arrival & used their own exch rate of Rs.67=US$1.00 whereas official exch rate of Visa is Rs.71-.34+$1. This hotel mgmt is dishonest & fleece guests by using arbitrary exch rate by keeping a markup in conversion while my reserve card is Foreign Transaction free. I complained & got the biggest run around of my life all the way upto the F.O. Manager & when questioned they show ignorance full aware of their fraudulent activity. Beware, hotel bill will increase by almost 10% than booking rate if you are using foreign credit card. There is no escape as they already process payment 3-4 days prior to arrival. Very sneaky way o pad the income. I was scouting for a good hotel for 50 extra rooms for my Son's wedding later this year, but will look for other properties. Housekeeping deserves improvement as they didnot refill towels after cleaning rooms.

I liked the fort like look if this vast property. The rooms were old and run down however and the breakfast service was not that good. The pastries were stale. It was a little noisy with kids in the pool yelling at 7am. It had some good features but the negatives outweighed them so I would not return.

Unforgettable experience in Udaipur
1) The property is amazing - starting from stone carved architecture to morning sun rays kissing the balcony, fort like spread of rooms/ villas and a view of Sajjan Garh Fort. 2) The restaurant offers pretty good variations for the breakfast or ala carte dine in needs. 3) The most appealing part was the customer centricity of every staff, from the helpers in the restaurant to the front desk. I would like to call out the amazing help provided by front desk and transport department - we left a backpack in our room by mistake on the day of checking out and realized after reaching the airport. With only 1.5 hours in hand before our flight, we called the hotel and they sent an empty car immediately without any persuasion with just our backpack. The driver arrived just at nth second for us to catch the flight! We later got to know that the person who came all the way to the airport was the 'in-charge' of transport department! Kudos to the staff for such customer love..

Horrible stay, bad facities
The shower sprayed water everywhere but the shower cubicle. We didn’t have any hot water and they refused to switch on the boiler. Food was terrible and so was the service. It’s quite far from the city too. Would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone. Highly disappointing stay.

Approach makes a difference
Though the first evening started on the wrong footing during dinner, however, with the subsequent intervention of Mr. Saxena, Mr. Dheeraj, Ms. Sonam and Mr. Dev along with their team ensured that all was forgotten by the next day. The personalized attention and service that was extended goes beyond words. Definitely worth a second visit.

This hotel has all the makings of a five star hotel but it is need of a renovation. It is perfectly comfortable, the staff are exceptionally apt and eager to serve, and the interior grounds and views of the city are magnificent. However, the rooms, lobby, restaurant, and spa have lost the grander that once made the hotel exceptional. With the proper investments, the Ramada could be one of the nicest in India. A couple complaints: the interior courtyard venue hosts wedding parties and corporate events, which is fun to see, but annoying to hear as you try to sleep. The spa was in major need of a facelift. My wife complained of an unskilled massage therapist but mine was more acceptable (especially for the price). All and all for the price, I would recommend the hotel. For those not needed luxurious amenities, you'll find the Ramada perfectly comfortable.

We had a early check in and the staff was fine with it and asked us to kill by having paid breakfast. The breakfast had plenty of options but the food was average. When we got done with the breakfast we got the rooms and it was not sanitized properly. It had a damp smell and stains in many places which concerned us. Upon calling the house keeping they took more than a hour to come and get this re-sanitized. Post settling down asked about the Free Wifi service and i was given a username/password. The service was so poor that even a normal dial-up would have been much better. Every time you are prompted username & password and also it drops almost every 20 mins. It will say you are connected but when you start using any Apps it will throw the lost connection error. I complaint about this to the IT department who responded that they will try to check the boosters and reconfigure it for better connection which didn't happen in 3 day stay. Word of advice be very cautious in what you order as in room service as there is different VAT % and service charges for food and beverages which i ended up paying during check out. Also there travel desk is very expensive and when you ask the same driver it is almost half price.

Its a good resort with all the facilities like Pool, Spa and good restaurants.

No atmosphere, cold and overpriced
I was hugely disappointed. The hotel is one mass of cold stone and marble - our room felt like a tomb. Both lounges were obviously stained. The bar was silent and uninviting. The staff were all great but the hotel itself was not worth the exorbitant price we paid.

Excellent hotel
A hotel with unusual architecture. The bar/restaurant staff were excellent in giving good service. Food was good. Rooms very clean, spacious and comfortable.

Rubbish Hotel
Probably one of my worst stays every, not because the property is bad, but because the service is terrible and moreover the staff just does not understand hospitality. I don't think they're from the industry. They had rented the space outside our rooms for a loud party with music fireworks etc late into the night and we couldn't sleep. no warning was given to us. A lot of the guests were upset but they went ahead and did it the next night too. Also in the afternoon there were many drunk men sitting outside our room during the day drinking and yelling loudly, so we couldn't take an afternoon nap either. Moreover, it made it a little unsafe for the women to move around freely. This hotel is great if you're a bunch of 18 year olds who want to make a lot of noise and drink a lot - no one will stop you. For the slightly older traveler, you could probably give it a pass.

Good Property
1. Location of hotel is good. 2. Food quality is good but spread was limited. 3. Room cleanliness was not upto the mark especially bathroom cleaning.

great location
it was nice and comfortable stay. Property is good with nice staff / service. Approach to the hotel is little uncomfortable but once inside hotel it is really peaceful and nice.

good hotel n good staff
Alll was great...the rooms, staff n the resort itself..One thing to check is the spa is not available..we were here to njoy the spa but unfortunately was closed.ramada do smtg about it
