"Fabulous location especially for doing the Bridle track. Staff were helpful. It’s basic but has everything you need. Dinner and breakfast on site which is very handy especially if you are on a motorbike."

"We had a fabulous stay at this property. It was so much more than expected. Beautifully presented & a very impressive renovation. I would highly recommend it to others. I'd like to give some feedback/suggestions. The coffee pods supplied didn't fit in the coffee machine.There was no milk for a cup of tea on arrival. I would recommend a small long-life milk be provided.The iron is broken. It works but kept leaking water on the clothes as I was ironing.The heater in the lounge room was running well but on the last night it kept automatically switching off and the display said, "heater filter".Rear bedroom - insect screen coming away from frame.Rear bedroom - had a lot of trouble reaching the power points behind the bedheads. I'd suggest an accessible powerboard."

"No shops nearby and kitchen basic so glad that we didn’t have to cook a meal. However accommodation comfortable and shower especially good. Two bath towels and one hand towel was a bit light on for 4 nights stay."

Very well organised place and top feature appliances. "The most amazing and scenic place I’ve ever stayed. Tent was gorgeous with stunning view with the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. The amenities on site were great, toilets and showers were so clean and kitchen facilities were great with so much outdoor seating. There is a pool table and darts board as well as board games. The hot tub was amazing also. Would highly recommend Glenayr farm for a couples get away or even for a group of friends who could stay in one of the 4 villas on site. "

"A fabulous farmhouse on an amazing property. Truly and authentically the real Australian outback. It felt like going back in time, and wildlife watching was awe inspiring. Kangaroos surrounded us as far as the eye could see. Gentle cows and sheep roamed the paddocks, We spent most of our time on the deck, soaking it all in, book in hand, quietly chatting. Evenings were spent around one of 3 dining tables, candles lit, board games out. The nights were cool, the days gradually warmed up, followed by a spectacular sunset and magnificent night skies. Hill End itself is fascinating and historic, the coffee at the grocer was great, the new micro pub absolutely fabulous. Mudgee, an hour away, was great for a day trip to pick up some local wine and cheese. All in all, it was a privilege to ring in the New Year in a place like this. Thanks Anna and Bob - we hope to be back again!"
