Lovely hotel and as always im Sri Lanka, great staff. Amazing location and views. Points to note. Dont pay for the higher floor option. Its not taken seriously by the hotel. We stayed for 2 nights, and we both thought that the food and the public areas were amazing. We also booked the yoga classes which were great. The bungalows are very cool, they are open, so you get a pretty unique experience. The beds are a bit on the hard side, this should be improved.

Lovely resort perfect balance. Lots of places to eat lovely beaches, lots to see nearby. Easy to get here by train from Colombo which is a 2 hour scenic ride for £1 with a seat.

Further you go south the finer the beaches Unawatuna itself is really for the younger generation
