“This spotlessly clean home is set far off the road in a woodland setting along a river. The large windows and light-colored wood make the home feel bright and cheery even on overcast days. The kitchen is well-supplied with nice cook ware and there is plenty of seating at the dining table. Our family (3-year old grandson, son/daughter-in-law, ourselves) had plenty of comfortable private and shared space. The home could easily accommodate more using a day-bed upstairs and fold-out couch in the……

“Great house well-equipped for large groups. The house was super comfortable with spaces and entertainment for adults and kids. The kitchen is very well equipped despite not having a stove/oven, and it’s clear the owners have put in every effort to make sure you have everything you need. We mostly missed out on the absolutely beautiful mt. hood views due to rain - I guess we’ll have to visit again soon!”

“The property is very "HGTV" and fun looking. Space was clean, organized, and well stocked. Only "minus" is the proximity to a rather busy road, but then it's also a short trip to coffee and restaurants.”

“The house had everything we could possibly need for our stay. The furnishings, the beds and bedding, the kitchen supplies - all were great. We had one sunny day when we enjoyed the magnificent view from the deck. When the rains came on day two, the view was different, but still beautiful. The location is wonderful, and we were able to easily explore Hood River, White Salmon, and the surrounding areas. Would definitely rent here again.”

“Just 10 blocks from historic Hood River, beautiful old buildings and very nice shops. Easy drive to the waterfalls or east to The Dalles area. The Mt Hood loop is a must see as well. The house is well appointed and comfortable, great decor. And, the view of course. Mt Adams and the rive are directly in front of you. Better than tv. Thank you Brian!”

“My co-worker and I greatly enjoyed the peacefulness of the house and the amazing view, especially from the deck. While not at our workshop, we spent most of our time out there on the deck, working on our project and enjoying the spectacular view of Mt. Adams. We loved the simple elegance of the interior and the open floor plan oriented towards the great view.”

“Very nice house in a beautiful, quiet location. The house is older, but well maintained with beautiful decor. The kitchen is well stocked, but the bathrooms were limited.. no hairdryer, or soap in the showers. The TV had a glitch, it worked but was sort of irritating to watch because of the glitch. Overall we truly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely stay again.”

“This four bedroom, three bath condo on two floors was ideal for our family of three couples and two little ones, ages 2 and 5. The beds and rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, as were the baths, but the little ones were ecstatic when they walked into the downstairs play room, so thoughtfully filled with toys and/or games for all ages, from the stuffed animals sitting in the chairs to the colorful art on the walls. Upstairs, there was also a cabinet filled with more games, puzzles and……

“All really great. Just a couple of suggestions. Downstairs shower has low water pressure and some electrical plugs need to be updated. Road noise is an issue but we did fine with it. Carpet and linoleum could be updated for a nicer experience. All in all we would definitely stay there again.”

“Great, family friendly lodge! We had a great time. It was a holiday weekend, so as expected the wait times / getting ahold of room service was pretty tough, but again - absolutely to be expected. The prices are a little rough for drinks, etc. but honestly the convenience of having everything right there is pretty great. My only true complaint is that our room was super hot and I am sure because they were busy, we couldn’t get ahold of front desk. The bed is also comparable to sleeping on the……
