“We usually travel to PEI in the summer but thought of it when trying to plan a little get-away over the holidays with our two young adults and one of their partners. We were also traveling with our senior yellow lab. This property caught our attention because of the size, dog friendly status and being right on the beach. The hostess was excellent to deal with, and I can’t say enough about the house. It had enough room for everyone to spread out or gather together. We cooked all of our meals……

“Rented this property to stay with my partner and our yellow lab while attending our daughters soccer nationals. Great place to relax outside of game times and only a short drive to Summerside. Great location to walk our dog and beautiful area. Would rent again.”

“This Bedeque property is in a prime location for daily travel to sights around the island. There are plenty of restaurants, grocery stores and ice cream shops in nearby Summerside. Our favorite dinner was at a small shop with a very limited, but delicious, menu, called South Central Kitchen and Provisions. Holman's Ice Cream was our favorite ice cream shop, and we tried several.”

“We stayed here at the tail end of our island adventure. The place was large enough for our family. The beach was ok, kayaks were fun. Wi-Fi was good. Laundry and cooking space were good.”

The decor was wonderful and everything was well documented though it's hard to read the light switch labels in the dark 😀 Doug was a good host and despite my breaking a wine glass and lightbulb I got the feeling they'd have us back and given the opportunity I would love to stay again.”

Fully stocked with everything we could need. We enjoyed barbecuing on the large deck with breathtaking ocean front views. A short walk along the beach led us to a beautiful sunset both nights. Highly recommend this property to anyone who enjoys a luxury accommodation with lots of charm.”

“The cottage was unique in it’s own way. The property was well kept and the view over looking the Grand River was awesome. Location was close to all amenities needed but off the beaten path for privacy. Donna is a great host making sure all was good.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this spacious, comfortable home. We were a group of 7 family and friends ages 19 - 67. The private bedrooms for everyone and the several gathering places were perfect. We never felt like we were cramped or in each other's way. The outdoor deck areas, shaded and unshaded, gave each of us something we liked. We enjoyed using the firepit, the pizza oven, the deck swings, the enclosed porch, and most especially that fabulous outdoor live-edge bar on the deck.……

“Everything was great except for the air conditioner didnt work ”

“It was a perfectly fine stay. The breakfast the next morning was pretty good, aside from some very burnt sausages.”
