"I understood prior to staying here that staff availability would be limited due to this place being more like an airbnb. That being said it does not negate the fact that there were many things that are basic that were not available at hand. An ice machine, regular cleaning staff, a working emergency number not just an answering machine, tv, a refrigerator, or even a mat for the shower so you don't slip. The last one may seem a petty thing to complain about, but the combination shower tub is porcelain and very slippery. I ended up falling backwards out of the tub and landed on my behind. I ended up getting a nasty bruise. The rooms could be cleaner, I found numerous stains on the bedding and the bed was not so comfortable, felt like sleeping on an inflatable mattress. I found some staff to be standoffish when asking questions or for help. If you do come here just be aware that you might have to figure some stuff for yourself. Oh, and do not lose your key, no one will be around to replace it or let you in your room if you lose it. "

Superb restaurants within walking distance, proximity to Chinatown, cable car stop right in front and comfortable, clean rooms. The best staff I've ever encountered.
