“The US needs more hostels like this. It reminds me of my days backpacking through Europe. My boyfriend and I are in our 40s and we came here with his teenage kids. Even though we got 2 private rooms, it still felt like a community. The common areas are very welcoming: a huge comfortable couch to watch World Cup games or anything really; a clean kitchen with anything you need to prepare meals and a place to sit and eat; huge outdoor covered patio with nice patio furniture; and a yard with a fire……

“My TV never worked. Maintenance came to check it and just kind of said oh well. no one offered me a change of room or any other alternative answers. The breakfast, only beverage available was coffee. No juice or any water was offered. All the chairs were very stained, I was embarrassed for the hotel. Not a good experience at all.”

“We rented a suite with mountain views and was put in a handicap room (with a view). The entrance door rubbed against the frame and made a terrible loud noise every time. I'm sure this was as unpleasent to other guests as it was to us. The bathroom was dirty (especially the shower chair). The bed was very comfortable but low to the floor and pillows didn't match in size.The hot tub outside was not working and the pool room inside was to hot to even enjoy. The breakfast buffet was convienant but a……

“Good location, easy in and out! They did a good job on the updates, and keep it clean.”

“The room was clean, but there was not even a cup in a room with a kitchenette, No plates coffee machine etc. Its strange the front desk is closed most of the day , all evenings and on sundays with a large metal shutter so there is no one to communicate with ? It tells you to slide your key under the metal shutter when leaving not even a secure drop box. It was a fair price for the room. Lots of weed smell around building but its colorado so not uncommon.”

“When we pulled in we noticed high weeds growing in the sidewalks, the pool area was closed and in disarray. When we checked in we were told the ice machine was broken and there is no microwave or frig. in the room and there was a security deposit. They gave us a key. When we went to our room, it was beside two rooms that were taped off and one was boarded up because it had caught fire, blackened the whole area outside. The windows were filthy. The window to my room I rented also filthy and……
