“The room was lovely, and the bed was comfortable. Our hostess, Joellen, was friendly and courteous. She makes a mean waffle! Since we were the only guests that evening, we had a lovely conversation with her. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone coming to Galveston.”

“If it wasn't for the ocean view I would have asked for a refund. The room was very dirty, toilet, bathroom and floors. Beds and towels were clean. Staff was nice. For 100$ I was very disappointed to have to clean it up! They need better housekeeping!”

“The room itself was relatively clean. It could use a deep clean though. There was no soap or shampoo in the containers in the shower, the parking lot had trash where we parked, and the blow dryer didn’t work. It looks like they’re working on cosmetic improvements, but need to pay closer attention to necessities.”

“It was unsanitary, visable stains on the bed sheets and pillow, hasnt been properly cleaned who knows how long. There are visable damage on the ceilings and walls. Terrible cover up with paint and masking tape to cover up potential water damage and visable water damage on one of the doors”

“I got to Galveston and was wondering why I hadn’t received any information on how to check in so I contacted the property. They said my booking had been canceled because they don’t accept booking less than 48 hours before the arrival date. I have no idea why it was even showing up as available in my search!! They had sent me an email but it went to my junk folder. They didn’t try to call or text though and the reservation was still showing to be valid on the Expedia website. I was very……
