“What a great place!! Owners and staff are top notch. Easy check in. Great food. Lodge is roomy with a lounge, pool table and several dinning tables aswell as a tackle and merch shop area. Clean cabins. Feels like your experience really matters to them. Great atmosphere to be in and unwind. Launched our boat with ease. This Lake system is amazing. Huge cliffs, beautiful waterfalls and streams surrounded by hills topped with massive wind swept pines.Looking forward to our next trip up. Cant come……

“We enjoyed our stay in Batchawana Bay. Voyageurs Lodge allowed us to enjoy a walk along the beautiful sandy beach of Lake Superior just across the street. Our whitefish was delicious and the apple fritters were very good, but didn't claim the title of world's best (which still goes to the fritters from the long-gone Al's Bakery of Pine River, MN).”

“Customer service was great. The room was recently updated and refreshed also very clean. Check in went extremely smooth. The restaurant and bar was great as well with exceptional customer service there. I would highly recommend if you're in the area and need a room.”

“Older motel, totally old school, dated but very clean. Comfortable for a 1 night stay. Coffee & muffins were available in the morning. Staff very personable and accommodating when extra towels & pillow were requested”

“I had a bottle of wine and asked the proprietor if he happened to have some glasses (as opposed to the plastic/cardboard ones in the room). He was gracious and gave me two wine glasses! Fabulous touch!!”

“The locks on all the doors are number combinations instead of access cards. The window leaked water when a bad thunderstorm came through the area. The water ran under the bed so I wiped under the bed and discovered a thick layer of dust and someone's old hat was still there. The room was not thoroughly cleaned. The pillows were old because one had "Bristol" written on it, which is the name of the property before it was renovated.”

“The surrounding area was the prize. So beautiful. The room was a pleasant surprise as it was newly renovated.”

“Bathroom facilities need renovation. Dated and seals trap water. Well water has unpleasant odour. Otherwise, adequate. Price seemed high compared to excellent value at next stop Deep River.”

“The bed seemed fresh and was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and recently updated. The air conditioner was quiet and cooled the room well. The rest of the room was very dated. The window was dirty with some cobwebs. The sidewalk in front of the room was littered with cigarette buts. Hard to say how clean the carpet was. I stood at the front desk a long while waiting for someone to appear. Even after pressing the counter bell twice and phoning the cell number that the sign on the counter told……
