“Not much in the area and the tents didn’t seem to offer a view like the pictures. Diesel heater was difficult to understand, had to turn it in and off to regulate heat throughout the night. Didn’t receive instructions on how to use it ”

“Lived in Mahone Bay for a while in 1981. Still such a picturesque town and beautiful coastline to explore.The lovely unit of Pam and David’s was clean, comfortable, quiet and beautifully decorated. Fully equipped kitchen, short walk to the main town. Private and elegant, parking, good Wifi, felt like home. Wish we could have stayed longer than 2 nights.”

“A week at the Hilltop Retreat was great…a month would have been better. This quaint little cottage provided a cozy but plentiful space for our family of four. We enjoyed the large, open yard, with plenty of room for outdoor activities, and the beautiful ocean view while sitting and drinking coffee every morning. We made great use of the golf clubs, kayaks and bicycles. The cottage provided a great base for us while we explored the south shore. We hope to visit again very soon!”

“Wir hatten fantastische Urlaubstage in diesem wunderschönen Cottage. Die Kommunikation mit Claire hat von Anfang an sehr gut funktioniert. Im Haus war alles wie beschrieben vorhanden und unsere Kinder mochten den großen Kühlschrank. Auf der Terrasse zu sitzen und das Kommen und gehen der Touristenströme zu sehen, war besser als TV!Wir haben sehr gut geschlafen und würden hier definitiv wieder buchen. Absolute Empfehlung. “This was a gem of an accommodation! It was beautifully decorated and designed with all sorts of tasteful decor items but there was a ton of storage space for all of our needs. They had everything it was so well equipped, nothing was missed in the design and layout. It was just as comfortable as it was aesthetically beautiful. We give this a 10 out of 10!”

“We go away every summer with another couple and have been to a number of properties in the Maritime region.This property was exceptional! Spotless and stocked with all of the essentials and then some! Plenty of dishes, cutlery, towels, bedding etc. The extra kitchen supplies were a great addition.The property offers a great indoor layout (bright and spacious), great outdoor seating spaces and views. A very quiet spot but close to Lunenburg and Mahone Bay for day trips. We so loved our……

“This is a great whole home property that offers a lot of easy trip options. There is a super cute small downtown that is a good spot for breakfast / shopping. There is a grocery store super close to the house and the kitchen is well equipped for any meal. The home has no AC but did provide fans. The back yard and deck are spacious but we spent most of our time traveling. This is a great location for families looking to maximize ability to hit Peggy’s Cove as well as down to Crescent Beach and……
