Upper Jay Hotel with Pool

"Close to Olympic Center and town. Very walkable. Great view of mirror lake."

"Rooms were clean, and staff was friendly. However, beds were not very comfortable and the heating/fan system was VERY loud making rattling noises and turning off and on all night, resulting in little sleep. Also, woke up to strong weed smell from neighbors, I'm assuming."

"Beautiful Adirondack lodge property. From the rooms to the public spaces and amenities all are kept in great shape and very clean. The room was great with a very well stocked kitchen, fireplace and great outdoor patio space looking at the lean to's and well kept garden center courtyard. The bathroom floor is heated, feels great getting out of the tub/shower. The towels were over the top big and fresh. Furnishings in the rooms were very comfortable, great bed, plenty of pillows. Breakfast in Kanu was outstanding. The Dining Room is a beautifully constructed Adirondack room with an outside patio that has a great view of Whiteface Mountain. Fitness center was well equipped. Loved the indoor and outdoor hot tubs. This is the best Hotel/Lodge in the Adirondacks. A must stay anytime of year."

"Hotel is under construction so most of the stairwells and elevators are closed resulting in a very long walk to our room. The one working elevator got stuck twice during our stay which was unpleasant and stressful. The hotel doesn’t begin serving breakfast or their complimentary coffee until 7am, which was after we needed to leave for our event. They do have coffee pods and powdered non-dairy creamer in the room though. The staff were pleasant during check in."

"The place was a zoo. Kids fighting and screaming in the pool to a point of being unsafe. Staff said there was nothing they could do. Room smelled like cigarettes."

"NO CABLE TV SAMSUNG TV ROOMS ARE NOT VERY NICE NO NIGHT FRONTDESK THE FIRST FLOOR IS VERY NICE; BAR, SEATING AREA AND COVERED PORCH."
