The room was exactly as per description - two windows, nice view. Very well maintained. Clean. Community setup - common areas, common fridge, sauna, lots of places to socialize. Overall, it was a very good relaxing stay.

Expedia did a poor job of letting us know it was self check in. Instructions were terrible. We came in at night and there was no outside lights and poor signage to find the chalet. Had to get help from another resort to locate.

Wonderful view for how cheap of a stay it is. The staff less check in process was great for introvert who would not like to deal with people. They also have some amenity rooms you can hang out with friends or other guests.

The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable..The owner & his family made us feel like we were part of their family. The dogs warmed up to us too. I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel has a Swiss Chalet vibe all day long! From the architecture to the artwork and everything in between. The owner, and cleaning staff were helpful, friendly, and very engaging. The game room in the basement had a new projector for movies, along with air hockey, ping pong, darts, and foosball. It appeared to be newly remodeled too. The sauna had a cool controller with app control if you're on the wifi. We used the kitchen for breakfast and had an espresso from their high-end espresso machine that is complimentary! The beds were comfortable, view was to die for, and the shower was amazing! I'd love to come back during ski season, or again in the summer to use their kayaks or mountain bikes.

If I could give a ten star rating I would! Our stay at Davos Chalet exceeded our expectations! Even though they are doing some remodeling it isn't very noticeable and never was an issue! We got turned around trying to find our room and Chris was very helpful in directing us to it. The room AC was acting odd and with a phone call to Jeff it was fixed within minutes and then Chris showed up to look at it about a minute later. We chatted with him about what we were going to be doing on our stay and he gave us some suggestions and came by later, while we were gone, and left a brochure for us! Excellent customer service by both Jeff and Chris! Our room and the common areas were spotless, the bed was super comfortable and the common areas were maintained to that level of care everyday! They have a great firepit area and we had plenty of wood for a great fire one night! The views around Davos are spectacular! We are already planning a return trip and Davos will become our go to place every time we visit northern Wisconsin! Thank you for a great stay at Davos Chalet .. we will be back!

Contacted the property regarding stairs. My husband is 89 and I’m 80. Facility has no elevator. The management was wonderful in considering our safety first. They gave us a full refund. Nice and quiet place. Thank you Davos

Absolute relaxation bliss! My room was ever so cozy and very, very clean! Though they may be still working on some renovations it was not obvious to me! All the areas I saw were bright, clean and well maintained! The views were lovely and watching g the sunrise over the lake was just the icing on the cake. Though check in was contactless and there was no front desk I was still able to find staff if I needed anything. Though this lodge only had tvs in shared spaces, this is not the type of place you come to for tv watching anyways! There’s a lake to play in, trails to explore and so much better stuff to do! I would 100% come back!

The chalet itself was fine and the manager did warn us about college students working there for the summer but they were extremely loud and running all over the building and outside until about 2am. We did get some sleep by turning on the AC fan all night.

The picture on Expedia wasn’t what we saw. We stayed in a room with a queen bed and bathroom. The place itself was very unique and in an out of the way area. We were the only ones who stayed who were traveling through. The other guests were guys who worked in the area. We thought for what we paid, it was ok. No TV in room, but there was a Keurig for our morning coffee. Great views to look at.

We stayed 1 hour. We wanted to just hang out and relax but with no chairs and no TV in our room we left. Everything is in the common areas. You have to share everything with all the guests. Our room had a bed, toilet, and a shower. That was it. We stayed 1 hour and decided to drive the 4.5 hours back home
