Hotel check-in is at Gobernador Félix Paz 868, but the actual rooms are located at Gobernador DeLoqui 849, which is a 600-ft walk downhill. Yes, this is noted in the booking — but what they fail to mention is the condition of the path, especially in winter. We were asked to haul our 25kg bags down a steep, icy slope in the dark, with broken pavement, uneven stairs,
If you are traveling with injuries, disabilities, older adults, or even just a large suitcase — this setup is not safe. And the hotel should be more transparent and prepared to assist.
Plus we had a waterfall leak above us that flooded our bathroom. The irony? Hotel staff could walk over from the check-in building to inspect the flood and bring towels — but apparently, not when guests needed help checking in safely. That double standard really says it all.
We reached out to Expedia for support and spoke with Omar, who was empathetic, professional, and actually cared about our safety. Huge thanks to him — he did what the hotel should have.
