"The hotel and room were beautiful. We had a balcony that overlooked the beach. It is on the main beach road so you do have to cross street to go to beach and on the weekend you can hear the bar on the beach side playing music. That being said, they did provide beach towels and are assorted with beach club where you can get chairs and umbrellas for about 20 euros. The breakfast was great - made to order omelettes"

"Hotel Villa Casanova was one of the highlights of our trip to Tuscany! Everything about this place was special. The rooms are incredibly spacious, with a huge comfortable bed, huge shower, and enormous soaking tub. The attention to detail throughout the property is exceptional. The views from the pool and our room balcony were stunning, overlooking the mountains and valleys of Tuscany. It was the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the scenery. The onsite restaurant was excellent, and we especially loved the continental breakfast, which included two things that can surprisingly be difficult to find while traveling in Italy: eggs and Greek yogurt. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make us comfortable, even accommodating food and caffè requests outside of the stated kitchen hours. That hospitality really stood out. We love having a great “home base” when we travel, and this was perfect. Close enough to Pisa and Lucca for easy day trips or dinner, yet when we returned, we had complete peace and solitude. We also completed an amazing Cinque Terre day trip from Hotel Villa Casanova where we didn’t have to worry about the hassle of making dinner plans; we just messaged the staff that we’ll be having dinner at the restaurant! Beautiful property, incredible views, excellent food, exceptional hospitality, and the perfect place to unwind. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back in the future!"

"We were very pleased with our choice of hotel. The location is excellent and the town was a beautiful 10 minute stroll from the hotel along a promenade. The staff (all of them - reception, breakfast, bar and cleaning) were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a rooftop bar with a great view over the bay at sunset which also serves small plates of food. We had an amazing view from our room - the only slight negative was that the room was slightly small for all our stuff (a 10 day stay) - but the bed itself was large and comfortable. In Lerici itself there are a wide range of restaurants and bars, and ferries available to take you to the Cinque Terre. There is a bus stop next to the hotel and that takes you to La Spezia station if you want to get a train to other places (we went to Portofino). The hotel is situated right opposite a lovely sandy public beach. The water was beautifully clear and the beach was clean. You have several options if you want to pay for sun lounger - our preference were the ones which were to the left as you look out of the hotel. The staff there were friendly and you could get food and drinks from their bars. We had read very good reviews of the hotel, it's staff and location and I'm very pleased to say that it reflected those reviews. If you want to come to the area, we thoroughly recommend the hotel and it's team"
