Great location!

Great location ski in/ski out, check-in gear overnight, short walk to Garfunkels, ice skating rink, Blue Moose pizza, Tavern, cafe, candy store, ice cream, shops. Family friendly area. Charter Sports rental shop on 2nd floor was so convenient. Friendly staff and concierge. Loved this 1st floor unit location view. Open the door to the fresh fallen snow!

Beds very comfortable and unit is clean. Had to ask manager to fix heat as it was very hot in the room. They fixed it immediately. Same with TV, it was not working but they fixed it immediately. The location is perfect for skiing and the ski check is wonderful. The room needs some hooks added as there are none. Also the stools around the table need repaired as they are wobbly. Sink drain doesn’t close completely. Staff very friendly. Microwave and refrigerator were great.

Best ski in/ski out location on the mountain!!

You literally walk out the door & get on the lift. Well actually you grab your skis from the ski valet right outside the hotel back door & then get on the gondola or the lift (your choice) that are steps away. When you are done for the day you ski down to the valet, give them your skis, grab your cocoa, & walk right into the hotel. We have stayed at many nice “ski in/ski out” resorts but this was by far the closest & most convenient of them all. I can’t say enough good things about this resort. There is also a ski rental shop on the 2nd floor so that made getting & returning gear uber easy. Charter Sports (knowledgeable & friendly). We thoroughly enjoyed the two large outdoor hot tubs & heated pool after long days of skiing. The lobby has nice seating & a cozy fireplace. The staff is exceptionally friendly & helpful. Like over the top! We had complimentary coffee & hot cocoa daily ❤️. You are in the heart of Lions head village with complimentary shuttle to Vail Village anytime if you want for more shopping or restaurants. Lions head village is less crowded & more laid back, but still very nice. Our hotel room was large enough for a family of 4, simple but clean. The service, amenities, plus fantastic location made it a 5 star stay. My only criticism would be that the mattress were very firm, but the front desk sent several extra fluffy pillows & we adjusted. We can’t wait to stay here again!!

Best location ever!!

This is the closest you can stay to the gondola. A true ski in/ski out experience. Room was cleaned every day by staff. On-site restaurant was solid. But you are here for location, location, location!!!

We loved the view of the ski area. We have enjoyed the Vail experience for decades! Lion's Square Lodge was very disappointing this trip (lack of heat, hardtack pillows, uncomfortable bed, indifferent staff..all 1st world issues...and at the same time when paying premium price for off-season time...oh well..the valley is always beautiful!

Room was much bigger than it looks in the photos. Beds are very comfortable but the best part is the view. Nice outdoor space to sit and watch the people on the path, the river, and the mountains. Only a 2 minute walk into lion head village. Just lovely.

Amazing views and location

Right at bottom of Lift and Gondola! 1 minute walk out door and free concierge ski service (very easy). Room is on 1st floor so no balcony but you can walk right outside on the snow or grass. Coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. (No kitchen).

This unit is well equipped for those who are looking for comfy beds and pillows. We liked the oversized refrigerator too! The granite counter on top of the dresser is ideal for making coffee in the mornings and sandwiches! Great shower too and robes are nice for relaxing on patio or at the pool.
