"The young man working the overnight front desk should be running his own hotel one day! I’m rarely impressed with professional acumen, kindness, and sincere effort to go above and beyond. I literally watched this young man treat a dozen or more people checking in with such professionalism that I was astonished. The rooms are extremely big, super clean and they have an indoor pool, I however, it was freezing cold.. the breakfast exceeded expectations. I think it’s a wonderful hotel at a perfect location and definitely a competitive price. If I ever roll through Des Moines again, I will stay at this property."

"Overall it was a great rental in a good location.Morning traffic is loud. Lighting is very bright in living room, with no accent lights for evening and no night light to see in bathroom. Bathroom shower curtain kept falling down. Host answered our questions quickly."

"The upgraded room was appreciated when the room i reserved online wasn't available. The only draw back was ypu could hear all the people in the hallway. The children running down the halls. People trying to look in the peep hole. So, to keep this from happening, I put a piece on TP rolled up and put inside. The blackout curtains only keep some light out but does not make the room Dark. I enjoyed having a stove, full sized frig, microwave and sink in the kitchen."

"We rented Willow on Grand for our daughter’s wedding. The venue has a place for the bride and girls to get ready but not the men so we rented the house for the men to have a place to get ready and hangout. It served our purpose perfectly!"

"Checked in after a long time of driving, my bed didn’t even have a blanket on it and it had a dirty sheet. The pillowcases were clearly reused. I asked the front desk to get this rectified and she wasn’t sympathetic at all. Just OK we’ll get it fixed when we get it fixed and I was like well. I need a blanket on my bed. So eventually housekeeping came and I want to have a shower and the showerhead didn’t work plus there was no plug for the tub apparently since I booked through Expedia, it’s a third-party so nothing they could do. I complain to Expedia not all they did was offer me $10 which is a joke so I said forget about it. "
