Perfect stay for winter.

Wonderful chalet at an amazing location. There was plenty of space for our party of 12. We loved the fireplace and the Interior decor. Would like to come back sometime in the winter. The parking space in the front of the chalet was convenient as well. Thank you Mone!

Great property for a large group in Val D’Isere

Great large space for a bigger group. Easy ski in and ski out or close bus stop. Highly recommend.

Fantastic ski in/ out location, lovely chalet

Large chalet which accommodated 11 of us from 4 different families very well. The kitchen and living area is very spacious and comfortable and was ideal for both eating and chatting. The kitchen is well appointed, with everything you would need to cook for 11 (+) and we ate in 5 of the 7 nights. Bedrooms are a little on the small side but we only used them to sleep in, and the mattresses were very comfortable. There is a garage in which we kept our skis, and a boot warmer/ dryer. The chalet is excellently located - about 50m from the flattish end of the santons red run from the top of Belvarde. Weaker skiers would need to get the free yellow bus from town to get back, but these run every 20 minutes and stop at the end of the road (about 70m away). We walked into and back from town on two nights and its about 10 minutes - we preferred being away from the centre of town as it is quieter in the evenings. All in all, we were very happy there for our week of skiing and would strongly recommend the chalet

Awesome Chalet

What a wonderful place, and an amazing location. Loved how convenient the bus and skiing was. 1 min walk out the door to both. We would absolutely stay here again!

Chalet avec bel emplacement

Très bien situé, le chalet est très proche d'une piste (facile vers la station) et d'un arrêt navette (toutes les 18min). Parking sur place. Bon agencement intérieur, salon confortable. Les salles de bains gagneraient à être modernisées mais rien de grave. En bref, un chalet très bien situé pour 1 ou 2 familles avec des prestations correctes pour le prix demandé.

Fabulous town disappointing chalet

Arrived at 4.30pm after 13 hours of travel but cleaners hadn’t been so were not allowed in. After getting irritated with the owner my 11 month old grandson and his mother were allowed to wait in the chalet while it was cleaned. The rest got in after 6pm. So not a good start! No toilet paper at all or bin bags added to the lack of welcome! The chalet was large and warm and most rooms were comfortable but one of the twin bedrooms had bed legs that kept collapsing. And the WiFi broke for 4 days. So disappointing. Which was a shame as the skiing was great and the town is fantastic. Will go to Val d’Isere again but will stay somewhere else.

We loved it!

We had the most wonderful week in the chalet. Homely, comfortable & spacious it was the perfect chalet for our party of 10. A well equipped kitchen which was very much part of the living area made for a cosy, communal family time. Located in le joseray, just a 10-15min walk from the town centre, it was an easy ski down to ski lessons in the morning & a short bus ride home. Marie was kind, helpful & accommodating, sweetly arranging a Christmas tree for our young family at short notice and providing us with great recommendations for restaurants & other amenities. We absolutely loved our week & hope we have the opportunity to stay in the chalet again. Thank you!

Confortable et bien situé

Nous avons apprécié la situation en hauteur dominante avec belle vue, calme car éloignée de la ville. Proche d'accès des pistes quand la neige est abondante (c'était le cas). Bon niveau de confort intérieur mais nous avons regretté le nombre de penderies et de patères pour notre famille nombreuse, notoirement insuffisant, deux chambres en étant totalement dépourvues. Il faut penser à équiper le chalet de piques permettant de casser la glace car le seuil d'entrée était vraiment casse-figure.

Excellent

Lovely chalet, a little bit out of town but in a wonderful position with good views. 5 minutes walk from the end of the Santons ski run. Not newly refurbished but everything worked fine and was comfortable. We had a great week.

Chalet is in great area a few steps from piste, really ski-in, ski-out, to the centre is about 15 min walk. Interier with fireplace an wood walls is warm, good kitchen equipment. Suitable price in very expensive area of central part of Val d´Isere.

A wonderful ski chalet

Thank you for a really lovely holiday in Chalet Ormelune. It was so nice to be in a chalet that can properly accommodate everyone as opposed to some chalets where you feel packed in like sardines in a can! The walk to the ski slope was easy and the kids loved tobogganing down the hill by the garage. Many thanks Richard

Wonderful chalet

We were a party of 4 families with 8 adults and 6 children. The chalet was perfect for our needs and was spacious enough to accommodate us all. We loved the main living room and kitchen which became the focal point for the week. The kitchen is very well equipped and we had great family meals around the table. The bedrooms are very comfortable and there are plenty of bathrooms to cater for a party of our size. The children loved the chalet because they could spread out and relax in their own rooms if they wanted to. The chalet was lovely and warm and there was always enough hot water. The views from the chalet are lovely and a constant reminder of being in the mountains. The walk from the town is nice albeit there are regular buses. Also great to have a ski store as the children and some adults loved to ski back to the chalet. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely chalet. Everyone said that it was a fantastic week!
