“This was a beautifully designed and appointed home with lots of outdoor space for walking (and enjoying the pool in the summer). Davide who manages the house was welcoming and explained all of the aspects of the home to us upon our arrival. The house was incredibly comfortable and clean. The surrounding vineyard were stunning and the house provided plenty of outdoor vantage points to enjoy this. Two areas to consider with this home. “We stayed 3 nights and it was wonderful. Claudia at the front desk was fantastic! She made sure we had whatever we needed. Always greeting us by name and gave us great suggestions and directions. The location is beautiful. The pools are a wonderful retreat after a day out in the countryside exploring and wine tasting. “This is the first night we stayed in Toscana. The hotel is a real castle located on the top of the hill. The beautiful landscape of agricultural view seen from the hotel was panoramic and breathtaking. The family suite was cozy, containing one living room and two bedrooms. The thermal swimming pool was fantastic and spa center was amazing. Breakfast was flourish. The dinner was also good but overpriced actually. As a whole, I highly recommend staying in Catello di Velona as you visit Toscana.”
