“What a lovely place to stay. Very nice garden and people. Very pretty part of town. Room was small but delightfully decorated and lovely view of garden. Had a bit of trouble working out the shower temp but eventually got it right! ”

“This property is the worst place I have ever stayed in, I stay in a lot off air brb as I work away from home a lot. Nothing comes close to this place, absolute dump, mold all over the upstairs, rubbish still on the floor looks like the cleaner gave up years ago. We arrived at the property after waiting 3 hours to be told someone was in there who shouldn’t have been. Key code was wrong took an hour to get that. No towels no toilet roll absolute disgusting also had a smell to the house. I would……

“Easy access to the beach and local footpaths. Very quiet.”

“There is nothing to fault. The property is modern, spotlessly clean and well furnished to a high standard, with excellent views. There are some very pleasant small details on arrival (a loaf of bread, cake, butter, milk, tea, coffee and a selection of biscuits and jams). Paul and Jill are delightful and amusing hosts, who went out of their way to make our stay memorable. We will definitely return when we are next in the area.”

“The house was very clean, well equipped and quiet. We were staying to visit our daughter at college and this proprty was perfect for that. “We were celebrating my wife’s 70th birthday, and wanted comfortable and special accommodation for family members and friends. We also wanted to be able to enjoy a grand meal together for up to 14 of us. Compton House was perfect for us - a very unusual and lovely property. Our host was very responsive and very helpful in every way. Thank you so much Patricia, we really enjoyed our stay in your beautiful house.”

“Check in process was very confusing due to providing the incorrect location of the lockbox.Listing states parking is available, yet that is not the case you have to go to a lot and pay for parking.Wifi didn’t work at all for us.Bed was VERY uncomfortable in the master, springs popping out.Bathroom had no mirror, the only mirror was inconveniently located behind the door in an armoire shower was lukewarm at best.In need of some updating.”
