「After a busy week touring Monteverde and Arenal, our stay at this house on Playa Negra was a much needed restful few days at the beach. Loved the proximity to the beach to pop over the street when we wanted as well as the relaxing sounds of the waves and ocean from the expansive balcony and all the delicious restaurants nearby. 「This was a nice place to stay and was close to everything without being in the middle of it. Lots of restaurants walking distance and in between 2 towns if you need to get something. The beach is directly across the street. This street is the only road on this coast so it can get a little busy/noisy. House only holds 4 at most but if you had a few friends staying around this would be a great place to meet up cook meals and walk to the beach. Biggest drawback is no A/C so if your not use to...

「This hotel was a lovely surprise for our first trip to the Caribbean side of our adopted country Costa Rica! Beautiful hotel and beautiful grounds. We ate most of our meals at the hotel because the food is just so very good. My only real suggestion is that they close the pool at 7:00pm because the pool is right next to the lovely dining area.
