It was very clean and updated. I was pleasently surprised for a motel 6. Location was great for us. It was close to the freeway, close to Six Flags, and right next to a grocery store which was peefect for us.

I have been coming to this hotel for years through all the different owners and Horace has done an exceptional job on cleaning this place up I recommend it to anyone going out of town in that area great customer service I love the bedrooms the bathrooms in their summertime the pool is always clean and it is by plenty of food places my absolute favorite place to go when I'm out there.

Amazing place to stay in Vallejo!!

Staff is amazing!! Cleaning service is amazing… rooms are amazing! Overall this place is a 10/10. I was very scared to stay here at 1st but once I was able to view the rooms and the property, I made a great choice. Very quiet and clean.

A quiet night away from home

Room was spacious and I loved the easy to adjust thermostat and the full size refrigerator and microwave. The single king bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was wide enough for a wheelchair!

Best Motel 6 I’ve ever stayed at!

The accommodations were nice: the wood floors were mostly clean; and the room was spacious. A three-quarter size fridge I microwave utensils, plates, and glasses and a sink all included.. parking in the courtyard seems secure and the room is reasonably quiet. The marble table and bar are beautiful the bathroom and shower are modern.

A pleasant surprise

A single night stay while we went to hurricane harbor. Very spacious, great amenities, and a nice setup overall. A regular sized refrigerator, plates/silverware, and large bathroom were a pleasant surprise! Even had a fold down seat in the shower! Very cool!

Vallejo Stay

Check-in staff was superb. The room was nice and quiet especially being on the street with on ramp to 101 I was pleasantly surprised. The thing that left a bad impression for me was on checkout. The woman had major negative attitude as if I was putting her out.

The prime highlight of this property was the manager, whose name escapes me now, but he was a gem and absolute star of a worker. Besides this, the room was quaint and well-stocked. Beds were clean, and so was the bathroom. I enjoyed the room itself. There was a lot of noise outside at most times, including the morning and night. The area itself, like the rest of Vallejo, felt (and most likely is!) very unsafe. Lastly, we tried getting some soap and shampoo since it wasn't included for some reason, and we were told to come down (at around 9-10pm) to the main office and grab it. When we got down there, it was locked and we had to yell for a clerk (that was very rude to us) just to give us soap and no shampoo/conditioner. 4.5/10

I BOOKED THIS HOTEL, OR MOTEL SHOULD I SAY, WITH THE IMPRESSION THAT IT WAS "VERY GOOD"!!! I ORIGINALLY COULD NOT FIND THE HOTEL BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WAS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF TOWN WITH THE ADDRESS OF ADMIRAL CALLAGHAN. THE STAFF WAS WONDERFUL, BUT I DID NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE OR SAFE AT ALL BECAUSE OF THE AREA THAT I WAS IN. I ALSO COULD NOT FIND THE HOTEL BECAUSE IT HAD A HUGE SIGN THAT SAID "MOTEL 6" AND WHEN HAS MOTEL 6 MOTELS BEEN IN THE VERY GOOD CATEGORY. NO RUGS, NOT EXTRA THINGS BUT A BAR OF SOAP AND WORKERS ALL AROUND ALL NIGHT!!!

Things to know…

I’m a little confused. Our booking was for Studio 6 and we paid over $100 for our one-night stay, but it was actually a Motel 6 which only charges $69 before taxes on hotels.com. If you’re staying in Vallejo and booking on hotels.com be sure to compare the addresses. It was comfortable and clean but spare and lacking niceties. The pool looked very nice and clean but we didn’t use it. The window coverings inside are plantation-style shutter louvers and they let fluorescent outdoor walkway light in all night. It literally lit up our room and made it difficult to stay asleep. The front desk gentlemen were very nice.

Check in was quick and easy, quite a few parking spots; room was clean, the fridge was full size (unexpected but welcomed). Pillows needed to be updated - a bit flat. Major plus was the multiple usb outlets for the phones/ipads; great lighting in the room.
