“The Ginger House Museum Having stayed there a full week, my wife and I are impressed by the richness of its physical environment and the attentiveness and kindness of its staff. The hotel museum, in the 1500’s, a warehouse for ginger has been tranformed. It is full of wonderful Indian craft from different periods, many valuable: a “snake”boat more than 100 feet long, elephants, strange horselike creatures and many more. Doors and walls are painted and in some cases carved to reflect the antique……

“Lovely, well maintained hotel, pool and gardens . The staff committed , knowledgeable and friendly. Dinners in the History restaurant were without exception delicious, especially the First Class Railway Mutton Curry which was outstanding. These were preceded by a visit to the bar, over which knowledgeable barmen preside. All in all, a wonderful stay and the next door ferry was never a problem for us, indeed we think we will miss the throbbing motor which we found quite comforting. ”

“They Hyatt Bolgatty is an absolutely stunning property. From its gorgeous lobby with fresh flowers and coffee shop to panoramic views, the layout, amenities and cleanliness of the property was wonderful! The breakfast buffet each morning was incredible an overwhelmingly amount of choices. It was here we met one of the best servers we have ever had! Riyuni met us our first day and was so informed and knowledgeable about all the different food selections. He acted as an amazing tour guide as well,……

The swimming pool on the roof was lovely and open early. The hotel was very clean, Sets of two rooms shared a communal area with a fridge. The hotel was conviently located on the edge of the historic part of town.”

“Really not enjoyed, it was never informed renovation going on in tg8s hotel. If it was known never booked. Paid a hefty amount much higher than hotels in down town. Never expected and disappointing.”

“I spent my last night in India at the Malabar House in Fort Kochi and it was quite the treat. I was upgraded to the Garden suite and the room was stunning from the fixtures to the artwork. The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The food was fantastic! The hotel is ideally located just a block or two inland from the harbor and the fishing nets. Gorgeous property. ”

“The front desk and staff were excellent. The room did not have fresh linen when we checked it, and the bedding had stains and was not fresh. The front desk was courteous and changed the bedding with fresh linen on our request. The restaurant is nice, the location is convenient, and overall the property and staff are very good. ”

“Fantastic staff and the best restaurant we have ever eaten in! A good alternative to Fort Cochi which isn't as nice as is made out to be! The street is very busy but our windows blocked out all noise. Would highly recommend. ”
