"Great service, quiet, it has everything you need. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The town is quite empty so that is reflected in the hotel. But the staff are really nice. We were there for two nights and ate at the restaurant downstairs where we were usually the only ones there but really good food and service. When planning our trip to Ha Long Bay, we were debating staying in the town or a cruise. I am very glad we went with the decision to stay in the town. It was a much better experience and much needed support to the local economy. "

Short 10 minute walk to main area of the city. Amazing beach and views of the sea. nice hiking trail nearby of the coast."

"All the staff, especially the concierge John, were extremely friendly and helpful. John arranged activities, scooters and coordinated our difficult connecting transportation requirements. The spa was amazing and our room was by far the most beautiful, modern and well appointed of any we've experienced. A spectacular view, extremely comfortable bedding and uncommon conveniences like an in room Nesspresso, auto dimming cove, recessed and under cabinet lighting made it feel very homey. Unfortunately, the property itself is still recovering from a recent typhoon and our January visit probably didn't help appearances but we can't say enough about the staff and accommodations."
