“Great location about 15 minutes by scooter from Cat Ba town, ideal for exploring the island. Spacious rooms, freshly cooked meals, and scooters available for rent made our stay very convenient.”

“Our waitress Thảo was superb in welcoming us & taking care of us at every meals during our entire stay. She was attentive and caring, introducing us to all the Ha Long Bay specialties. Thảo, Asst. Manager Trung and Chef Hữu went out of their way to prepare special Hạ Long squid dishes for us to try, making our stay very memorable. The entire Grand Pioneers 1 crew was very friendly & courteous & helpful. We would definitely recommend Grand Pioneers cruise to our friends & family and hope to come……

“The hotel aims to be a diverse resort, but the actual management appears chaotic and inefficient. Staff lack proper training in service, hygiene, and English proficiency, and the maintenance of hotel facilities is poor. Overall, the hygiene standards of the rooms and restaurant do not reach five-star levels, and the quality does not match the price. Unfortunately, this is currently the only upscale hotel on the island.”

“Tried some couple of services including spa and room services. Both receptionist doesn’t allow me to use credit cards only cash or local payment method (QR pay). On Aug 2024 neighbor area is like construction side, only few restaurant in nearby area, to be honest if you are foreign tourist prepare some cash or find another place for your own good! Cheers”

“Everything was professionally done from the welcome center/waiting area, boat that takes you to yacht, luggages waiting at your room. Boat is impressive one year new. Food was excellent, opinion from a Vietnamese ex-pat. Pho was delicious. Staff was very responsive. Two excursions were excellent. Most luxurious boat @ Halong Bay”

“신상호텔로 확실히 인터컨다워요 중간에 클럽라운지 추가해서 지냈는데 기회된다면 호캉스 예정이라면 꼭 추가하길 바랍니다 근데 체크인후 룸사용시 룸과 화장실 중간 슬라이드 문 고장으로 인해서 조치를 취하는데 대응이 적절하지 않게 느껴졌어요 오후 늦게 8시 넘어 체크인하고 피곤한상태로 씻으려구하다가 고장발견하고 얘기한건데 10~20분 수리해도 되지 않으면 빨리 룸교체 해주는게 맞다고 봐요 계속 수리팀은 수리하려구 하는데 되지도 않고 짐도 다 못풀고 씻지도 못하고 피곤한데 시간은 한시간 가량 흐르고 제가 요청해서 룸교체를 받아서 그제서야 쉴수있게되었는데 그런일이 생기면 신속하게 대응해주시길 바랍니다 레이트체크아웃 2시간 요청해서 받았지만 조금은 아쉬운점이 남아 남겨요 그외 조식이며 룸상태며 수영장. 클럽라운지 모두 만족스러워요”

“We had an amazing overnight stay. The staff were very welcoming, informative and professional. We opted to have dinner in our room (private dining). This was definitely a very rememberable experience with a six course meal. The food for the whole trip was some of the nicest I had. The view from our room was breathtaking. I hightly recommended Ambassador Cruises in Ha Long Bay.”
