The portable window air conditioning unit was very noisy. It's obvious much updating and renovations are required at this inn. The location isn't disabled accessible so navigating the stairs each trip was a workout for anyone with mobility issues. Key access to the room and front door was archaic. I never felt unsafe in that area though. The railroad tracks were very close and very noisy when trains were passing especially at wee hours of the morning!

There's no staff at the front desk unless you call them on the phone. No elevators. Had a small kitchenette but very minimal dishes and pots/pans. They did not clean the room my whole stay, which was 5 nights, yet claim there there is housekeeping daily. They claim to be pet friendly but were very annoyed that I had pets with me. They say there are laundry facilities on site, but I was not able to find any. The whole place is in dire need of renovations.

It’s is older but was clean and very friendly staff . They have put in some effort to refresh the rooms . If you are looking for a new high end hotel this isn’t for you . If you want decent , clean , reasonable place to stay . Then I totally recommend this place .

The hotel had no staff to check us in. We had to wait for someone to show up. Then, when checking our beds, the sheets were stained and had hair on them . This was a disgusting experience. We got a refund but I still think Expedia can do better than this.

No one available to tell us the amenities.. had to phone to get someone to respond for check in.. only one key given. Room located upstairs very difficult to manage with husband with Leukemia who got locked out. Was charged a pet fee and requested no dog on bed even though cleaning fee charged. TV only worked manually for power and volume cobtrils no idea what channels worked..no phone in room nor instructions or directions for anything including sm coffee maker thst didnt work.Train whistles sounded like thextrains were in our toom even with earplugs no one informed us that they run and whistles all night long. Not interested in ever staying at this place again.

No front desk clerk. Need to phone a number posted on the locked door and the clerk came after waiting about 15 minutes… definitely an old hotel but if u need a bed it works

There was no real check in desk, just a counter, no staff person or any indication it was the lobby of a hotel. A dark hallway, rugs that were frayed and looked dirty, we thought maybe we were in the wrong place. We had to call a phone number taped to the "counter" to check in. Nice staff person. Very tall stairs, and hard to carry luggage up. We knew there would be stairs, but didn't know there would be this many. The room was worn, no mattress or pillow protectors, and the "pillowcases" were actually pillow covers, like in a duvet set. The pillows were very thick and I had to use a rolled towel as a pillow instead, to avoid a crooked neck in the morning. Nothing matched, very cheerless room. The mattresses were adequate but had sharp edges and were uncomfortable to sit on. Oh my, we stayed because we had been driving all day and were exhausted, but never again. Not worth the price.

Parking was pretty easy. Pub underneath the hotel was a bit loud. Rooms were not very soundproof at all. The rooms were in rough shape —- sprinkler in the room was poorly sealed. The bathroom roof had mud put on the roof and it was messy and never sanded down. The beds were terrible. It was old. No Reno’s and no elevator. So be ready to hike stairs!
