"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What an absolutely wonderful stay at Best Western Montfleuri in Sainte-Maxime! From the moment I arrived until the day I checked out, everything exceeded my expectations. The staff were outstanding—friendly, professional, welcoming, and always eager to help. They truly made me feel valued as a guest. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and situated in an excellent location just steps from the stunning Sainte-Maxime waterfront, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. One thing that particularly impressed me was the exceptional customer service. On my first evening, I experienced an issue with the air conditioner in my room. The staff handled the situation immediately and without any stress or inconvenience. To my surprise, they graciously upgraded me to a larger room, making what could have been a minor inconvenience into an example of outstanding hospitality. The breakfast each morning was excellent, with a great selection and high-quality food. Overall, the hotel provided a comfortable, relaxing, and memorable experience throughout my stay. I would happily stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sainte-Maxime or the Saint-Tropez area. If I could give more than five stars, I would gladly give 200 stars! Thank you to the entire team at Best Western Montfleuri for making my trip so enjoyable."

"The location and facilities were absolutely wonderful but the service was some of the worst I’ve seen at a luxury property. Upon arrival we were told by three different employees our room would be ready shortly on multiple occasions and that they were asking the cleaning team to “double rush” our room. Ultimately, the room was not available until 45 minutes after the official check in time. Then when we got to our room we wanted to take a shower as we had a long travel day including a red eye flight. Our room had no towels and we had to ask 3 different times for the staff to bring towels to our room. Additionally, our suitcases were not brought to our room until 2 hours after we were in the room. When our suitcases were brought down it was discovered the staff had lost one of our suitcases. They then figured out they left the suitcase in the vehicle during the valet process. Their response was “at least we did not lose it.”Not exactly 5 star service. The property had an expansion in June 2025 (stay was in May 2026) and it felt clear they still had not recovered from the increased guest activity. No chairs available at the pool or beach on day 1. The workers felt incredibly confused and overwhelmed and it was clear there was no manager on site with any authority. Each step along the way it felt as if the hotel staff did not want to go the “real” manager to explain the situation and take accountability or make it right. The price reflects luxury but the service is lackluster."

"Séjour très agréable au Le Lavandou ! L’hôtel est idéalement situé en bord de mer, avec un accès facile à la plage et à quelques minutes du centre-ville. La piscine est très bien entretenue et parfaite pour se détendre. Le personnel est vraiment aimable et accueillant, toujours prêt à aider. La chambre était un peu petite, mais confortable et bien équipée pour un court séjour. Une bonne adresse pour profiter du Lavandou dans une ambiance calme et agréable."

"The staff was very friendly and super helpful Absolutely loved my evening buffet, the food was so good and tasty (didnt try the breakfast as a bit pricey at €15) The room was very nice although it did have a smell of dog and some parts in the bathroom need some TLC but the bed was comfortable and pretty quiet The best for the end…. The lake, the beach, the sunbeds, paddles, kayak as well as the indoor pool and the sauna (And of course a beach across the road) I defo will come back"

"Our friends who drive us there couldn’t find anything but a parking garage with the GPS & their van couldn’t drive down into it so we gave up & got an Uber. Our Uber driver left us down at the parking garage level street, dropped us off & showed us a big flight of outdoor stairs to haul our suitcases up to where the main floor of the hotel apparently was. At the top we found the lovely hotel and a friendly person at the desk & checked in. The next day we were walking around on the actual hotel upper street level & found outdoor escalators that could take you to the lower street level (or up to the hotel street level.) If this sounds confusing it was and the front desk person said he understood & that only taxis pick up & deliver on the upper level that the hotel is actually on, not Ubers. Aside from that the included breakfast was good! The place was clean & we were glad we finally found it."
