「Had a lovely room with a great sea view in one of the villas in the grounds of the old Palazzo. Really good air con as well as a separate fan to keep the room cool - really important given the temperature during our visit (around 30 to 32 degrees every day). Also loved having 2 sun beds on our balcony as well as another table, chairs and a large umbrella. l would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who likes a place with history & loads of character. The old parts of the Palazzo were...

「Our room was very clean and we had a beautiful view and a big terrace with comfy seating and a small bistro table. Also there’s an electric awning for morning shade. The breakfast was good, you order daily for delivery to the room. Also on the plus side is a king size bed, hard to find in this area. There were two issues that affected our enjoyment. One is the number of stairs! It should be noted in the booking info that there are over 60 stairs to navigate with luggage! The second problem is...

「The room wasn't great. Location was pretty good from train station to hotel and then very good to ruins. If walking from train station head toward ruin sign otherwise you walk on a busy road. We ended up paying for a cab that we caught riding by because road was dangerous to walk on with luggage but found on way out another way. Pools were cold. Saw a hot tub but was covered The breakfast was pretty good. On a nice grass area and area around is farm land. Ruins were great」
