Vega Hotel with Pool

"Everything was great about this place until you take a shower. The showerhead was old and in poor condition and the tub floor was dangerously slick. Very unsafe!"

"The bathroom was in need of work. Of the two wall switches only one turned on a light. There was no light over the sink and the hairdryer did not work. There was no good spot to walk your dog. The breakfast which was served from 6 to 9 AM was pretty much empty by 8 AM and not refilled."

"It is an older facility, but not bad. Great price, clean, good breakfast, quiet. Front desk gal in evening wasn't especially friendly, but the morning gal was! We will stay here again!"

"Room and general areas were clean. Ice machines on two floors were out of service. Strong smell of marijuana on the ground floor. Biggest problem, was that on the two evenings we returned to the hotel at 6.30 pm, there was no one on the front desk. Just a sign saying, I will be back shortly. This doesn't really make one feel at all safe. It was over 10 minutes the first evening, the second I didn't bother to wait. I know staffing can be an issue, but having just returned from Spain and had THE BEST experience of hotel staffing, it makes you realize that we really don't do customer service here anymore."

"Had requested tub in room, tub had been repaired but no plug to use bathtub, no ice in any of the ice makers, clerk at counter was so busy trainer new employee hardly had time to respond to any questions I had. When I checked out , she again was talking to someone else and just looked up and said throw key in box"
