The equipments and building are old, but the quality of their service can cover it. The view is nice, and the chatting of the gondoliers is funny.

Meraviglioso! Camera con vista sul bacino Orseolo da dove partono le gondole. Struttura storica, personale eccellente gentile e disponibile in ogni settore. Buona la colazione varia con vista sul bacino snche con balconcini in perfetta atmosfera romantica. Ottima la posizione si attraversa un ponticello e sei in Piazza San Marco. Nei dintorni tantissimi ristoranti di qualsiasi portata. Siamo state benissimo!

Everything was good except for the shower. You’d either have scalding hot water or cold water. It was very hard to get the perfect temperature. Besides that, everything was amazing!

Located right off Piazza San Marco, the hotel’s old-world atmosphere matched how we feel about Venice, yet front desk was up-to-date and immediately responsive.

The hotel is old and in some disrepair. The staff were mostly pleasant and helpful. The free breakfast was well worthwhile. However, if it were not for the charms of Venice in general, and the hotel's location (just off Saint Mark's Square) seemed over-priced and 3-4 stars not 5.

Het hotel ligt op 2 stappen van het San Marco plein. Ideaal als je dat wenst. Ook vlakbij de ferry halte. Hotel is oud. Naar verdieping 1 en 2 kun je met de lift, daarna met trappen verder naar 3 en 4. Op de kamer (2406) ook 2 trapjes. Badkamer met bad en douchegordijn! Alles is gedateerd, gordijnen hangen half, maar dat is ook een beetje de charme van een hotel midden in een oude stad. Uitzicht ....op een muur met ramen. Ontbijt prima, continentaal. Personeel vriendelijk en behulpzaam., zowel bij receptie, ontbijt en var. Kluishuur mogelijk (gratis met borg). Bedden zijn vrij hard en er is geen airco. Shampoo en zeep aanwezig, geen bodylotion of conditioner. 2 stopcontacten op de kamer, niet bij het bed maar bij de deur en in de badkamer. Zou ik hier de volgende x weer voor kiezen? Nee, er zijn leukere, minder drukke buurten in Venetië.

The room is rundown and beds and pillows are awful. Ppl and buffet was fine. Loved the coffee machine. Great location.

No te avisan que te mandarán a otro edificio diferente al que aparece en la publicidad y eso es publicidad falsa, nos mandaron a un edificio atrás del hotel y la vista de nuestra habitación era fatal, a edificios sucios, en construcción y ruido todo el día de trabajadores y polvo.

Been a couple times to Venice and this is not a 4 star hotel by any means. Heating wasn’t working and they said they had shut down due to overload. At peak hours, shower varies temperature. Rotting doors. Location is great. I can’t think of best location, but the hotel is completely overrated.

Great location for a weekend break, 2min walk from St Marks Square. Convenient to main sight seeing water transports, shops and restaurants. Staff are friendly.

It is very close to St Mark’s Square. Easy access to all the lovely winding streets, quaint restaurants and many shops. Felt very safe during the day and at night.

Las habitaciones en general son muy pequeñas, pero la descripción si lo dice, hagan caso, es verdad, pero tiene buena limpieza y el servicio en recepción es muy bueno, lo más hermoso es que está aún lado del comienzo del paseo en góndola y a un lado de la plaza San Marcos, además nos tocó la habitación con vista a las góndolas y fue lo más hermoso.

Location is great. Very close to main plaza. Rooms are tiny. Showers very tight. Elevators are very small. I called ahead of time to make a request and felt like they didn’t care about my needs. Hotel staff not very flexible or caring. Would not stay here again.

The hotel is well-situated, close to many shops and transportation. However, the air conditioning does not work. We were advised to open the windows to allow air into the room but then the noise coming from the outside was unbearable and hence had to close the windows despite the heat.

We had a good stay, we left our suitcases after we check out and we were able to do some more exploration of Venice which is very nice thing, walking with them for half a day would be hale.The room was ready even before our check in hour.

The hotel is in a great location. Less than a 1 minute walk to San Marco and all the high end shops. My wife and I stayed for 9 nights and did not eat at the same restaurant twice. Staff is courteous and professional.

Personnel charmant que ce soit la réception, le petit déjeuner et la femme de chambre. L’hôtel est au calme et en même temps en plein centre des zones touristiques (à 1 min de la place St Marc, 1 min des commerces et 10 min de l’arrêt Vaporetto et Alilaguna). La salle de bain mériterait un coup de jeune avec une grande douche plutôt qu’une baignoire repeinte. Dommage qu’on entende parler les voisins de chambre ou dans le couloir.

Great location, just off San Marco, staff were lovely. We did have to walk up many flights of stairs so definitely got our steps in for each da. I would have preferred a room with a view but comprised on location which was amazing and we had a great weekend in Venice

Perfect for our stay-family of 4. Loved the location. Just a one minute walk to St. Marks Square. Staff was so helpful and accommodating. Many bakery and dining choices nearby. Gondolas outside the hotel. Cute bar to sit and view the canal. Lovely! We’ll be back!
