Fantastic place near San Marco

We had a fantastic stay in this apartment, located very close to Piazza San Marco. Be prepared for 5th floor walk-up, but it is worth it. Very clean, modern, comfortable beds, very effective air conditioning and wifi. Easy contactless check-in, but attentive and helpful host.

Le lieux parfait pour résider dans Venise

Rejoindre ce lieux tient du jeu de piste mais avec les conseils avisés de Lidia et de sa Vidéo, ça devient un jeu très sympa pour toute la famille. Arrivés à bon port, l'appartement est spacieux, bien agencé et très bien décoré. Rien ne manque et il y a même toute la batterie de cuisine nécessaire à la préparation de la Pasta Aldente... enfin concernant la situation géographique, difficile de faire mieux, les fenêtres du salon et de la cuisine donnent sur le mur du bâtiment de la place San Marco. Rialto à 300m, Saint Marc à 40m, Gelateria à 30m 😃 et café italien au choix dans un rayon de 50m. Donc nous recommandons +++ et merci Lidia pour les échanges. Nous reviendrons.

Right in the middle of everything

Property was perfect for touring Venice. Access to everything by walking. The place was clean and the air conditioning was the best. The apartment is the penthouse so there is a few steps but well worth the walk.

We had such a great stay. The appartment is very beautifully decorated, sparkling clean, with comfortable beds and in a great location very close to Saint Mark square. Lidia was in communication with us, providing detailed direction and ensued all our questions were answered

Great location but Dark apartment, with many many stairs.

Dark apartment, with many many stairs. No view. Location is perfect so if you’re going to be out all day long then this will work for you but if you would like to have a view and some lighting I wouldn’t recommend it. Also many many stairs difficult caring the luggage up . The owner sent someone to meet us on the water taxi stop and she showed us to the home so that was very nice. And the owner is very very nice and answered all emails promptly.

Excelente ubicación y atención

El piso está impecable y muy cómodo. Lo mejor su ubicación y como se encuentra en una calle cerrada no hay ruido. Si venís de Rialto contáis con dos supermercados, Spar y Coop, este último sobre el mismo lado del Spar pero unos pasos más en dirección San Marcos y fue el que más nos gustó por su variedad de carnes frías y quesos. El snack bar bajo el piso, de Piero e Mauro es extraordinario y no más caro que los panes o pizzas que veréis para llevar, pero en sabor una gran diferencia. De los vaporetos compramos billete para dos dias de uso ilimitado. La línea 7 os lleva directamente a Murano y saliendo en la última estación en Murano a mano derecha ya podéis ver una fábrica de vidrio. De la parada del Faro tomáis la línea 12 para visitar Burano, que realmente merece la pena verla, no solo por sus tejidos sino por su colorido indescriptible. Bajaros el mapa en Google Maps. El regreso lo hacéis igual y tomáis desde Murano en el faro el vaporeto 7, de lo contrario será muy lento el regreso. Los jardines de la Biennale aloja Pabellones con exposiciones vanguardistas de cada país. Merece la pena y además se puede comer dentro. GRACIAS a Lidia y a la encantadora Verónica.

A wonderful Venice experience!

We can not thank you enough Lidia and Danila! The apartment was a perfect location for us. Close to all of the action, yet very quiet. And we appreciate the personal attention of meeting us at the dock and helping us with our lost baggage. So very kind of you. I hope our paths cross again sometime.

Very clean and adequate for our needs

From the outside, like lots of the other houses, it did not look very impressive but once inside it was up to date and very modern. Biggest draw back was the five flights of stairs which we had not realised about. Description did say top floor but not how many floors.

What an amazing apartment in the heart of Venice. Close to everything that you would want to see.

First of all, our host (Lidia) was so helpful and kind. She met us at the boat landing and escorted us to the apartment. She explained everything in detail and provided great advice on how to be efficient and comfortable in the apartment. She had great recommendations for restaurants and assured us that she was only a phone call away. The apartment was fantastic. All of the appliances worked as described and the space was open and useful. The bathroom was very smartly laid out and the shower plenty large enough to move around without bumping the sides. All of the windows open to let the cool breeze blow through. When there is no breeze, the apartment's air conditioning system did a great job of keeping the apartment cool so that sleeping was not hampered by the heat outside. The apartment is a short walk from S. Marco Square and all the connecting boat terminals. Getting around and back was easy and the centrality of the apartment made it nice to start each day near the center of everything. Just a head's up; the apartment is on the top floor so be ready for a stair climb. For us, it was only a challenge on the day we took our luggage up. Other than that, it was just part of the wonder of Venice.

Wonderful.......

Our July, 2016, stay at Casa Corte delle Ancore was wonderful. It was as described in the Home Away Ad…….everything we expected and more. There are views of the canal and St Mark’s Bell Tower from the windows. The apartment is spacious, spotless, and cool, with the conveniences of updates but still the charm of the original home. The location could not be better……just steps away from restaurants, sites, St. Mark’s Square, shopping, transports, and more. Lidia met us at the water taxi and we made our way to Casa Corte, a very short distance away. She explained everything we needed to know about the apartment and answered all our questions about Venice……..and believe me, she knows Venice. Our month long trip included four countries. We stayed in apartments, on a ship, and in hotels. None compared to the quiet quaintness and conveniences of Lidia’s family apartment. Lidia, we definitely recommend this apartment and would stay there again. You were so very nice and helpful from the day we inquired about your property through the duration of our stay. Thank you! confortable et idéalement situé

Charmant petit appartement juste à côté de la place St-Marc. Sa situation est idéale car facile d'accès lorsque l'on débarque sur la place St-Marc, on a pas beaucoup à marcher avec les valises. Cela permet également de le retrouver facilement dans le labyrinthe de Venise. Au dernier étage (5ème), c'est juste le premier jour qui est un peu sportif pour monter la valise. L'appartement est très propre et bien décoré et surtout la literie est très confortable. Nous avons aussi apprécié le très bon accueil de Lidia (en plus elle parle très bien français) Nous le recommandons vivement, il ravira tous les couples qui veulent visiter Venise car il est vraiment situé au coeur des sites touristiques. Pour les restaurants, il y a en a tellement, et des bons, qu'il est diffcile d'en recommander un. Mais en général, il vaut mieux s'éloigner des lieux touristiques, on paye moins cher pour la même qualité de restauration et c'est la même chose pour les boutiques. Seul désagrément, le harcelement des restaurateurs pour nous attirer qui est assez désagréable.

inmejorable situación. Piso nuevo y bien equipado

Inmejorable situación. Apartamento amplio, muy nuevo y muy bien equipado. Hemos pasado 6 días allí. Lidia la dueña es muy agradable y estuvo en todo momento muy disponible. Lo único malo es que es un 5° sin ascensor, pero esto queda compensado con lo bien que esta el piso.

Maravillosa estancia en Venecia

Estupendo apartamento al lado de la Piazza San Marco, en pleno centro de Venecia pero muy tranquilo a la vez. Esta también muy accesible desde el Puente de Rialto, así que la localización es inmejorable. Hay que tener en cuenta que es un 5º piso sin ascensor, por si se lleva mucho equipaje, pero es lo habitual en esa zona y se sube bien. Tiene todo lo necesario para desayunar y cocinar. Lidia es encantadora y nos ha atendido perfectamente. ¡Gracias por todo! Venecia es una ciudad increible que hay que visitar sin dudarlo, y es esta casita se está mas que bien.
