It was charming! Very close to the Rialto Bridge and walkable. The Hotel was a bit tricky because we are older and our knees don’t work like they used to, so carrying our luggage up the stairs was a bit of a struggle, but we managed. The 24hr staff was warm and welcoming!

Bathroom drains that actually drain! Strong internet signal and water pressure make staying in the historic time capsule that is Hotel Centauro so enjoyable. The correct amont of modern design and convenience is combined with historical pieces that made my four night stay so memorable.

There is no elevator but the room has an air conditioner. The building is old - which makes it all part of the history of Venice but be prepared to walk up stairs. The room we were given was small and the bathroom was tiny - the shower was very small - not sure how they made it that small. We could have complained to move to another room but we were already settled. The breakfast options were good. Venice is beautiful and we had a great time on our trip.
