This hotel was friendly and located within a walkable distance from some of the main attractions of Venice. I loved the ease of walking down the street in the morning to get coffee and pastry, there is also a supermarket close by to stock up on anything you may need during your trip. The room was traditional and rustic but had a certain charm to it, the shared bathroom was always clean and never really had to wait for it. The staff were all very friendly and multilingual which helps. Will definitely stay again and hopefully plan to go around Christmas next time as it seems magical in Venice. Thank you so much.

Perfect place to stay for a busy city break!
Amazing location! A nice quiet area that’s only a 2 minute walk from the bustling area of Castello, and only 20 minute walk from San Marco. The room was exactly what we needed for a busy city break; and the shower pressure was perfect! The host was brilliant, so attentive and helped us with everything we needed! Only issue we had was our plug adapters didn’t work in the sockets as they were quite old, but the staff immediately gave us adapters :)

Hostel, not a hotel
This place should not be classified as a hotel, but a hostel. It was poorly maintained, Felt like an apartment that was converted into a room. The bed was not a bed. The entire place smelled moldy and a totally unpleasant experience. We were concerned for bedbugs due to the poor condition of the place. One of our worst experience for this trip.

Location is out of the hussle area of Venice which we didn’t mind at all. We had our own washroom but had to change rooms when we checked in for that. Just be aware when you are booking to double check that. For the price it is a great option. I would stay here again

Great quiet location with very helpful staff. Near a great street full of really good restaurants, a 5-10mins walk from nearest water bus stations. Breakfast was more than sufficient with cornflakes, yoghurt, teas/coffees, croissants, bread rolls and spreads, cheese... It also looks out over a canal and has some lovely shared spaces with books if you wish to relax.

Nice Hotel with great location
Great location. We could easily got to various destinations by public transport which is very close to the hotel. Very good value for money the Room was big and clear and air-conditioned. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Pleasant stay
Overall we got our money’s worth, and then some. The breakfast was simple but pleasant, the beds comfortable, our room clean and with working air conditioning, and the location excellent. The building could do with some remodelling, and some of the furniture with updating, but as it is it’s quite good.

Great family place to stay
Located off the beaten track means it’s quiet (it also has it’s own courtyard) but also that it’s where the locals live - so there’s a really good choice of really local restaurants and bars with none of the rip off tourist prices. If you want 5 star anonymous luxury and prices go somewhere else but if you want a glimpse of real Venetian life this is great. The people at the hotel could not have been nicer and more welcoming - and patient with my limited Italian. Grazie mille!

Good value for money for location
Staff made us feel very welcome and were really helpful gaining local transport information for specific trip. Great location, easy to walk to main area but also very close to water bus stop (Arsenale). Good range of local shops and restaurants including a very useful Coop which served fresh local snack food and area felt safe and comfortable to walk around in the evening. Room really clean and serviced daily, comfortable beds and only thing that could have been better really was the shower.

Nice hotel close to San Marco; quiet; bad breakfas
I really liked this hotel and the area surrounding it. The rooms were sufficient. High ceilings, nice balcony overlooking a canal. Very quiet, very peaceful, WiFi worked well. My only disappointment was the breakfast. There was nothing fresh. Bad coffee. Really low quality orange juice (in the land of fresh squeezed orange juice everywhere). No cheese. No salami, no vegetables or fruit. Just packed goods and white bread. While we had paid for the breakfast we had to skip it and pay additional elsewhere, even though we had already paid for breakfast here. Also there was no info anywhere on what time it starts; when we arrived we learned it starts at 8AM; way too late to start the day. However, everything else was great. If they fix the breakfast or not charge for it, they can be a very nice place to stay at.

Stanze ampie e pulite, dotate di aria condizionata, colazione all'italiana, disponibilità del personale e possibilità di lasciare i bagagli dopo il check out. Hôtel bien situé, draps propre et chambre bien nettoyée, mais l'hôtel est vieux et a besoin de rénovations, d'entretient et de nouveaux équipements. Débit d'eau faible et eau qui ne reste pas chaude longtemps pour la douche.

Nice hotel, quiet area.
Nice hotel in quiet area but close to bars/restaurants and local people. Just short walk to boat rides to other areas and also over to airport for 15 euros, Breakfast not much but coffee nice, Helpful with information when arrived which was much appreciated. Room was clean shower good. Furniture seemed quite dated but in a quaint way. Would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Nice walk to San Marco would take approx 20 mins and it's a nice walk from the hotel along the marina.

Hôtel excentré, vieillot, mauvaise insonorisation, robinet qui coule en permanence, climatisation ancienne inefficace. Douche commune: pas d'eau chaude un matin. Petit-déjeuner sommaire. Matelas inconfortable. Pas de mini-bar dans la chambre. Trop cher pour le service fourni. Point positif: Personnel très sympathique, parlant plusieurs langues. Hôtel au calme.

Dear Guest, thanking you for the good evaluation of our staff, we would kindly add that Our hotel is located 15 mins walking from St Mark Square, 7 mins if you catch the vaporetto. In 25 mins walking you can reach the Rialto bridge at least. Most of our rooms have a private bathroom. When you booked, It was your choice if booking a room with private o shared bathroom. Rooms with private bathroom have, of course, more comforts. With this being said, the air conditioning is working in every room, and if you have had a problem it would have been better to ask us while you were here. The mattresses are all new. We would also kindly remind you that we are a one star hotel and the mini/bar service in the room is not provided. Otherwise we can provide fresh drinks during the day at the ground floor. Again, we are always at guests- disposal to cater their needs, but we need to know thinks while they are here. Best regards, Hotel Management
